Alter Ego Spalon

I had been shopping for a new cosmetologist for over a year when I randomly selected Alter Ego. I like experimenting with colors and style. My stylist, Andrea, was a perfect match for me. I have enjoyed the change in color and highlights ever since finding her. I have never left unhappy with the style. I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a change.

I went there to get my roots done. I was left under the dryer too long and my hair burned off. I was left with half the volumn i walked in with. My entire hairline was 1/2 inch long along with a patch at the crown of my head n half of my bangs. Mind you....i have shoulder length hair. After the hair loss i was questioned about my diet or meds i was taking because she was basically blaming me for the breakage. She let me walk out the door with trying to fix it or offering free service....and she still took payment n a tip. I talked to my doctor n he said it had nothing to do with meds or diet. If it did....my hair would fall out from the cuticle. And i got a second opinion from another stylist n he also confirmed it was over processed...that she left me under the dryer way too long. I also had chemical burn on my scalp....my scalp peeled for about a week n a half after my hair appointment. Stay away from alter ego spalon!

I used to have my hair done at another salon, but when my stylist left to go to Alter Ego, I had no problem following her. I have always had excellent hair cuts as well as color. My stylist is given complete control on how to cut and color my hair and I have always been very pleased. I can get in on short notice, make appointments for my whole family, and if my stylist is not available I am able to make appointments with another stylist who I completely trust! I have refered 4 people to Alter Ego and they have all been very happy as well!

This salon did a very poor job on my hair color. While in the salon, I told the stylist that my color did not blend with the rest of my hair and the stylist assured me that it was the lighting in the salon. After leaving the salon, I called the salon to let the stylist know that my hair was in fact, lighter at my roots. The stylist was willing to redo my hair within a very short time frame, which is hard for people with a busy schedule. When I pay good money and spend my time on getting my hair done, I expect it to be right the first time. I will be fair and say that the haircut I recieved was decent, but I would never go back to this salon
