        Appointments Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call the hospital immediately Emergency & Urgent Care We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such as hit by car and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.         The Doctors and staff at Peoria Animal Hospital are very understanding and helpful. My pets enjoy going to see the Doctor! The staff is so kind to me and my pets!

        Pick another clinic!

        Short on staff, short-tempered receptionist misconstruing conversation with me r.e. questions I had. Eventually got the doctor on the phone who then told me, "We are very busy and if you have questions you need to make an appointment with the doctor." WRONG ANSWER!!!!! All I wanted was an appointment for immunizations and blood sugar check for my dog! Several of my appointments or conversations on the phone with this one receptionist has left me to believe she is VERY unhappy with her job. Maybe hiring more staff will relieve her of being overworked, stressed and less defensive with customers. After all, why did she get the doctor involved on one of their busiest days, Surgery Day?
