I went there on Tuesday after the lunch rush hour. I found the place to be very clean. The staff were very friendly. But it's the food I was most impressed with. Sonny's has competition so they should be on notice. I ordered the 3 meat combo plate. I had the ribs, sliced beef and chopped pork. The ribs were wonderful. They had a nice flavor and were very tender. I also enjoyed the sliced beef which was also pretty tender and the barbeque sauce was nice without being either oversweet or too vinegary. I was really pleased with the coleslaw which actually had flavor. Most places give you coleslaw which isn't much to write home about. But theirs was flavorful, creamy and went well with the beans and toasted garlic bread. I've been telling my coworkers about the new rib place and I plan on having lunch their again myself today.
I can't remember eating a burger any better than the one I had at Butch's Bistro last night! My wife and daughter each had one as well and also gave rave reviews. We had the fries, mac & cheese and red beans & rice for sides. All were very good with a special thumbs up for red beans & rice. The chocolate pie was wonderful and completed the meal. The restaurant is quaint, small and clean with very friendly service. The menu offers many other selections other than burgers and we intend to be back to try them all!
This place ROCKS! I used to work there many years ago and had the extreme pleasure of eating there on my shifts. The ribs are to die for, as well as the chicken. But the fired corn on the cob is something I will never forget. Here in Washington State, nobody has heard of that, but lucky for me, I get to have the flavors of that wonderful restraunt tingle on my pallet forever. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMm
