General Info:
If you like great Italian food at very reasonable prices, this is the place to be!! Since 1960, the Scinicariello family has been creating delicious pastas, hand tossed pizza & homemade Italian dishes. We are one of the last true Italian restaurants to provide handmade Sausage & delicious pastas. Out Italian Cuisine is the best in Florida & we provide Catering to all of your events. We are located in Cooper City, Florida and proudly serve all of the surrounding areas. John comes from a family of fine bakers & pizza makers. His father emigrated from Italy more than 75 years ago. The first John The Baker opened in Stamford, Conn in 1960. A half century may have passed but what hasn't changed is the quality of food and old country recipes that made the first John The Baker a landmark eatery. John is still giving customers the best of his grandfather and himself. "I love what I do, serving you delicious homemade Italian food. I take care of my customers with the same care, passio n & gusto that go into my own family meals."

First thing you will like about this restaurant is the smell,. ymmmmm. I wanted to eat so much... I think it reminded me of my childhood when we went to the Italian neithborhoods and had pizza.

Disgusting Food, Fithy Bathroom, Nice Owner

This is the second time I've been here. This time I ordered eggplant parmesan with spaghetti and meat sauce. When I went to mix the ""meat"" sauce with the pasta I noticed there was a layer of crumbled meat under the sauce. I tasted the meat and I almost threw up. It tasted like coagulated blood or organ meat made from table scraps. Next I tried the eggplant. The cheese was semi-fake (a blend of cheese food and real ... view more

Great Food!!

My family and I have been going to John the Baker for at least 15 years. The food is consistently good and the people who work there are always very pleasant and friendly. John, the owner makes a point to walk around to make sure everyone is happy with their orders. I read some of the other reviews and was surprised at some of what I read. When John the Baker first moved to Cooper City, his current location, I had st... view more

The Facts of The Matter!

HaHaHa, John it's getting a little old. I happen to know Joey personally and know that him and his partners paid him over a quarter million dollars for the business. Since then he's tried everything in your power to bring them down. This is as low as it gets. No one from Joey the Baker wrote this false letter of apology in fact it was probably John Scinicarello himself . In fact if for any reason you doubt this you a... view more

Worst Italian Food On the Planet

Whatever you do, donot eat here. The quality of the food is sub par. The veal was like rubber with no taste. If your in Cooper City try other italian restaurants in Pembroke Pines with almost the same name.

John the Baker has the BEST sausage pizza in Florida. Great fresh sausage, crispy crust, and excellent tomato sauce. If you go, make sure you have one of John's famous Cannoli's. They're even better than my sicilian grandma used to make!!! Also, the ABSOLUTE BEST ravioli and manicotti. A must have!

Worst Food Ever!

I will never go to John the Baker again. The food was absolutely disgusting. My family and I ordered Chicken Marsala, Chicken Parmigiana and a large cheese pizza. First of all, I don't know what they call chicken marsala, because for one it's in an orange sauce, two there is no wine in it, and three it tasted watery and very bland. The chicken parmigiana we ordered was brought to the table burnt and it tasted like co... view more

John The Baker is A#1 in my book.

Firstly, The Garlic rolls are to die for! Secondly, all the food is made from scratch. I am the biggest fan of the Lasagna but so many dishes are awsome. My wife, my kids and myself have been eating at john the bakers for years. Always a family atmosphere and great food. Plus I like that john comes around and really shows hes human and talks with his customers. He and his wife show their old fashioned family values a... view more

Go to Beef O Brady's if you are in Cooper City

If you are going to bring your famimly out for dinner Beef's is a much better choice. The price and service make it a more viable alternative.
