The mission of Sketchbook Studio is to help individuals see, feel, think and express their own personal talent. The studio is designed to suit the interests of any individual interested in taking classes in:* Basic Drawing* Explore the Art Studio* Fashion Design* Fun with Watercolor* Mixed Media* Open Studio* Printmaking from Scratch* SculptureAn Open Studio is offered and Meg nurtures the social and artistic interactions of her students ensuring each session with a relaxed artistic flare, which leads to a great experience. Art is a natural form of communication and it's sometimes easier to express feeling visually rather than verbally. The Arts are also an excellent discipline to build and utilize critical thinking skills.Often when viewing art we don't give credit to the conceptual and interpretational thinking that goes into the creation of a piece of art on all skill levels Sketchbook Studio specializes in working with children and adults with unique challenges and all programs are fully inclusive. * Basic Drawing* Birthday Parties* Explore the Art Studio Fashion Design* Fun with Watercolor Sculpture* Mixed Media* Open Studio* Parties & Gatherings* Printmaking from Scratch* Sketchbook Studio is available for parties and gatherings.An Arts and Craft birthday party will inspire the inner artist in every child. Each party will offer an age appropriate art activity for the first hour of the party, complete with all materials. Sketchbook Studio will work with the parent to design an activity and party theme for every age. Parents of child will supply all refreshments and paper goods. The fee for a birthday party is $250 for eight children but may be higher depending upon the art activity. Parties can be arranged on Saturdays or Sundays. The studio can accommodate up to 12 children. Activities for Brownie, Cub, Girl & Boy ScoutsScout troops will love to come to Sketchbook Studio for parties, celebrations and badges. Sketchbook Studio will work with the Scout Leaders to design activities, fulfilling Patch requirements. Scout Leaders will supply badges.Gatherings and Fund Raising. A gathering fee for use of the studio will be determined based on the size of the group. If the gathering would like to make art or a craft we can meet with you and design something of interest for your group. A gallery show can also be arranged for fund raisers.Host Your Own Art ShowLooking for an art space that can accommodate you and your fans?
