I was surprised by seeing only negative reviews on this business, so I thought I would contribute a bit of balance. I have used this local business twice at this point, and each time have gotten excellent work for a very fair price. I have had some items repaired, such as my boat cover, as well as a backpack most recently. Although these were not big jobs, the workmanship has been excellent and the pricing more than fair. I would not hesitate to use them to re-cover my boat cushions, which I am considering having done in the near future. The photos in the shop of some of the finished work that they have done on cars and boats look beautiful, and professionally done. When there are only a couple of reviews (and people do tend to only write a review when they have had a problem) can be misleading. I give 5 stars for getting the jobs done quickly, with excellent results that have lasted for years, and at a fair price.

WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN! The dad (Ty) sold me my awning and told me someone would call to let me know when it would be in, that was April 4th come June 3rd I called to see where my awning was cause no one had called. I spoke with Steve (Ty's son and now owner) who told me the awning just came in and we scheduled for 6/14 @ 3 pm to get it installed. Well @ 4:20pm on 6/14 I called the office to find out where Steve was with my awning. The lady called him and he told her he was running late, so I asked her to have him give me a call. Steve did call to let me know he DIDN'T have my awning due to the person who had it was closed (but earlier this month he lead me to believe he had it) and that he had ran late with an install. All of which is not my problem and as I told him, I also explained he could have given me a courtesy call to let me know he was running late since I had taken time off from work to be home and time off effects my money and my family. This was no way to do business.
I asked for my money back which he stated he would put in the mail, we will see how long that takes. I find this company to be unprofessional and they do not keep there word. Do yourself a favor and check a company out before doing business and stay far away from this one. I wouldn't even give them one star but with this system you got to give something, deserved or not (in this case NOT).
Hello, Funny how things get twisted around. First thing is I hadn't told the customer the awning was in but told her that the unit was ready. The plan that day was complete a job before Dee, pick up her awning in town and then proceed to her house and install her awning. I was on site with the job before and ran into some problems, with the frustration of the problematic install lost track of time. When I called Dee I explained to her that things happen, I appologised and she continued to inform me she had taken off work and lost money due to this problem. I offered to pick up the awning the next day and come after work to install the unit and also offered to come on the weekend because I felt bad about what had happened and on top of that also was going to take more money off the awning. Dee refused to let me install the awning unfortunately. I came back to the shop, wrote her her refund check that night and placed it in the mail the next morning. Shoreline has been in business since 1996 and had thousands and thousands of customer, unfortunately all of those happy customers don't take the time to write great reviews. 17 years in business, 4 bad reviews and 2 good reviews on the net over all...not to bad...
