I have been coming to doctor williams office for years. She is busy and there is usually a wait to see her but this has happened at every doctors office I have ever been to. Insurance companies "contracted rates" cut what the doctors get paid alot, all doctors are double and sometimes triple booking to make up the difference. I tried getting an appointment with a specialist that I was asked to see and was told they wouldn't be able to take me for 2 months! I have never had to wait that long for an appointment at this office, they are usually very acommedating if my medical condition requires a quicker appointment. Dr. Williams also works out of Huntington Hospital and does visit her patients there when they are admitted! I've never had a doctor do that before. I was shocked that she knew I was in the hospital without even calling her office. You have to be realistic with your expectations on finding a doctor these days. They are all busy, they are all treating several patients a day, they will always make you wait past your appointment time, thats not the doctors faults, they are part of a badly run system. Dr. Williams has always been a good doctor, even on her bad days (all people have them, doctors are people too). your health comes first and if she is not able to help you she tells you that and finds you someone who can. What more can you ask for these days?
There are so many great things to say about Rose City Pediatrics: * When we need to make a same day or next day sick appointment for our kids, we've ALWAYS gotten in (even on a Saturday!) * Our main pediatrician, Dr. Powell, is amazing with our kids - they're always excited to see him and LOVE going to the doctor's office (even if they're getting shots, which is big for a 4 year old and 1 year old) * Every other doctor we've seen at the office has been wonderful as well. It gives us every confidence if we have to see a different doctor on a sick visit. * The on-call nurse, Francesca, is extremely knowledgeable and has really helped us through quite a few late night worry-filled experiences. And she's given us a diaper rash cream recipe that works better than any prescription cream I've ever seen. * We've never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room to see our doctor for a scheduled visit, or more than 10 for a sick visit. I wish all doctors offices could be like this. I highly recommend this office to any new parents out there!
When I knew I was pregnant, I was searching for woman doctor but had hard time finding someone who is available and caring. I went to see Dr. Macer's, based on somebody recommendation, and I was very nervous and concerned. From first visit I felt very comfortable with his personality and bedside manner. He is an amazing, trustworthy and knowledgeable physician. He took care of me during the pregnancy and he did his efforts to be available at time of delivery. I felt very comfortable, relaxed and safe with his care. I had very successful and uneventful pregnancy, thanks to him. He was always available, caring and answered all my questions. He has outstanding bed side manner. I and my husband are both doctors and we know how to judge physicians pretty well. We found him to be the best of the best and we were lucky to have him. If I am pregnant again, I will go to him with no hesitation.
