Nice Store. Nice Products. Poor Service

BAD BAD BAD! Bad service. I can't believe I wasted an hour at this store. The store is crowded and there were people literally breathing down my neck just to get a glimpse of the macbook i was looking at. All of the employees were busy helping people and no one bothered to ask me if i had any questions. When i finally found a free person to ask one freakin question about my iPhone hardware issue~ I got the dullest ""I'm helping someone else."" Not even an apology. Sheesh. I just walked out.

best business

I had a problem with my brand new airbook , I was sure I ruined it.... They treated me so nicely and made me feel like they really cared and resolved the problem right away! I will ALWAYS shop at this apple store

Poor Customer Service

Long wait to get service; they didn't have a person working the floor to intercept you upon arrival like at Beverly Center. Front desk was only staffed by zero or one person during lunch hour rush. When I finally got service, I was told No, they couldn't exchange my defective product because it wasn't in stock. When I asked about the stock of it I could see over his shoulder, he said, No, that's a different inventory. When I asked about Genius Bar, he said, No we won't help you without an appointment. I can understand that (even though I've been able to walk in and wait at other Apple Stores). But I could've done without the surly attitude: no graciousness, no 'sorry you're having problems with our merchandise,' no 'sorry for the inconvenience,' no offer to help or make me happy, just a big, repeated, 'No' with a dull blank face.

Fun to browse

When this store first opened, everyone and their brother flocked to it. When the iPhone came out...there were lines and lines. Since the novelty has worn off, the crowds are less (usually during the week) so it's fun to wander around the store and ogle the toys. Lord knows the staff here aren't really that helpful unless they fairly certain you're there to buy something TODAY.

A cool store. Parking not so great.

The store is great overall. Heck, it's Apple after all! However the street parking in the area is not so hot and the public parking is not so conveniently located in case you needed to quickly stop by and pick a few items up. Overall a good experience, it's just the parking that makes it a little less than perfect.

One of the better Apple Stores!

Okay, that's like comparing Apples with, er, Apples! They're all good. But the fact that it is located in Old Town Pasadena makes it a great store to visit when you have the time.

cool stuff

I went to this locations when the new ipod touch started selling, so the store was incredibly crowded. I was surprised with how much store there was, though. There was like a children's area and area for tutorials on how to mac software. And many of the salespeople were attentive and there were plenty, which was surprising since there was a huge crowd. Also, the line moved really fast since once you got to the front of the line, the cashier would ask you what you wanted and they would get it for you really quickly. It seemed really efficient.
