Oil eventually starts to turn into jelly. Literally – petroleum jelly. Sludge clogs up oil passages and keeps oil from getting to some areas of the engine, causing parts to wear out prematurely. And that means expensive engine repairs.

Emissions Inspection
Of course, if you live in a jurisdiction that requires emissions testing to register your vehicle, you won’t pass the test until you make the necessary repairs. An EVAP trouble code could be caused by something as simple as a loose or worn gas cap, a leak in a hose, problems with a purge valve or even a rusty fuel filler pipe.
Timing Belt/Chain Replacement
You may notice sluggish performance, reduced fuel economy, or difficulty starting when the timing chain system is worn. You could hear a variety of noises: rattle, rumble, whine, buzz, or whir coming from the engine. If you experience any of these things, bring it to our attention and we’ll investigate it. If you do require a timing chain replacement, we’ll also replace all the other system wear components such as the tensioner and guide rails.
Transmissions are cooled and lubricated by transmission fluid. This pressurized fluid is directed through small passages to effect gear changes. When transmission fluid gets old and contaminated, the small passages can become plugged, which adversely affects shifts. The dirty fluid circulating in the transmission can eat away at gaskets and seals, causing internal leaks that also hurt shifting. This is why some recommend that transmissions be serviced from time to time. The interval varies by vehicle, so check your owner's manual or speak with your friendly and knowledgeable Keller's Pro Auto & Diesel service advisor about your transmission service recommendations.
Transmission Repair
My friend just had a very expensive transmission repair in Aurora. How can Parker drivers like myself avoid transmission trouble?
If you need new shocks or struts, let Keller's Pro Auto & Diesel help you take care of this safety service. You'll feel better, and you'll save on tires and other suspension repairs down the road.
Steering Service/Repair
For most of us, it is hard to remember life without power steering – cranking those great big steering wheels? It was a pretty good workout. Now power steering is standard. The heart of any power steering system is its pump. The pump pressurizes the power steering fluid that provides assist for steering. Most pumps are driven by a belt that is run by the engine – a few are electrically powered. A high-pressure hose passes fluid from the pump to the steering gear. A low pressure hose returns the fluid back to the pump.
Let us help you keep your vehicle operating safely. And saving some money on repairs and tire replacement is a good thing too.
Tire Service
Fit: The easiest thing is to purchase tires in the same size that were installed by the manufacturer. If you want a different size wheel or tire profile, be sure to work with your Keller's Pro Auto & Diesel service advisor so you can make sure that your new wheels and tires fit properly and don't rub in bumps or turns. It's also important to make sure that important safety systems like anti-lock brakes, stability control and traction control aren't adversely affected by the new tire size (the computer may need to be recalibrated to make necessary adjustments).
