After having shopped for dresses at a good dozen bridal salons and stores, in multiple states and at every different price point imaginable, I can assure you that White Couture is immaculate, tasteful perfection. It is the only shop I would ever feel comfortable recommending carte blanche to friends and strangers alike.
When visiting for my fittings, I have seen every type of bride in the most varied and stunning gowns. Everything from a young bride in an impressive, regal gown with intricate beading down a cathedral length train to a gorgeous woman in a soft blue flowing Grecian gown which could have easily walked the red carpet.
As for my dress, I had despaired of ever finding what I was looking for (especially on a local level) and had resigned myself to having a dress made. Prior to White Couture, I had found several pretty dresses that would work if they had to, but nothing that fit every nuance. In fact, I came armed only with a vague idea and a laundry list of things I didn?t want. Lillie?s staff immediately pulled multiple dresses in several different styles and began zeroing in on my vague, nebulous idea that even I couldn?t articulate fully.
In short order, Christina found THE dress. The perfect one that was sweet but not childish, sexy but not siren, bridal but not bridezilla, poufy but not cloying, subtle but not unadorned, retro but not campy and simple without being too plain. All this while being the perfect dress if I eloped but still wanted a reception after the fact. Sounds impossible? Yes, for the Type A bride who can?t quite make up her mind. But all in a days work for the ladies at White Couture.
Did I mention that this took an barely an hour? I sincerely wish I hadn?t wasted countless hours online and many a Saturday afternoon grappling with dresses and shops that didn?t quite measure up.
The staff is superb, kind and gracious with an approachable feel. (Even television is rife with car salesman-like bridal salons with overbearing salespeople trying to make commissions. White Couture is the antithesis of that.) It is a rare thing to find a salon carrying dresses of this caliber anywhere near Salt Lake City and an even greater rarity to find it filled with such fabulous, helpful people.
I can not say enough about my experience here. You absolutely will not be disappointed.
