Dr. Allen Duplantis joined the medical staff at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in 2009. He attended the University of Houston (Texas) pursuing his Pre-Med Degree and his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He interned at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA and performed his residency and Cardiology fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio.
He came to AMMC from Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, MO, where he served as Director of Interventional Cardiology for three years. He has also worked in West Plains, MO as well as parts of the Southeastern and Southwestern United States from Mississippi to Texas to Oklahoma, as well as in Jonesboro for eight years. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
The Cardiopulmonary Department offers a broad scope of outpatient services. These services include but are not limited to:
Cardiac Stress Training, 24-hour Holter Monitoring, Electroencephalograms (EEGs) and Pulmonary Function Testing (PFTs). Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. by calling 870-239-7150.
Electrocardiogram (EKGs) services are provided 24 hours a day.
Therapeutics such as Aerosol Medication Delivery, Volume Expansion Techniques, Oxygen Therapy and Ventilator Maintenance are provided around the clock.
Our Phase II Cardiac Rehabilitation Program provides services on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
