I brought We Fix Macs my 1st generation iPod nano to replace the battery. Took them an hour to replace the battery. It cost about $65 but then I was listening to my tunes again. However, after 4 months the battery wouldn't hold a charge. I hadn't used my iPod for about 2 weeks prior. I called them and they said their battery warranty was 90 days but they were willing to replace the battery. They indicated the problem was that I had to constantly keeping using and charging my iPod or this would happen. Well, that may be the case with their batteries. But I'd gotten the battery replaced on my kid's 1st gen iPod nano from iPodjuice about the same time. That iPod nano has been sitting around since Xmas since she got an iPod Touch. The battery in that iPod nano was depleted when I checked it, but it took a charge and is holding it. At iPodjuice it costs 1/2 of what We Fix Macs charge and they guarantee their batteries for 10 years. So I'm sending my iPod into iPodjuice instead of taking We Fix Macs up on their offer to replace the battery for free. I should have gotten the first battery from iPodjuice in the first place.
