From the moment you walk in, you'll feel the mom and pop-ness of this restaurant. You first order at the counter before deciding whether to eat in or take out. The cooked food portions are really substantial, but the sushi is just OK, not to say that it's bad. For a dinner, its actually a pretty good deal ($16.25 for 16 pieces or $10.95 for 12 pieces). But my advice is you should go for the chicken teriyaki ($7.25) or one of the other cooked home-food classics. Unfortunately the lunch crowd is awful with Paly High kids EVERYWHERE!
