    Best tasting wedding cakes ever!

    Provided by

Our wedding cake: Chiffon cake with strawberries and cream filling (very light, overwhelmingly tasty!) Chocolate chiffon cake soaked with Grand Marnier liquor and filled with hazelnut butter cream filing Chuck, the owner, worked with my fiancé and I to find the best cake for our wedding. During the tasting, he suggested that we have each of the 2 tiers with a different flavor. We picked strawberry chiffon cake right away, but liked the crème for the second flavor from one cake, the filling form another, and the biscuit from a third cake. Chuck kindly offered to bake a cake that met all three requirements and add some Grand Marnier liquor into the biscuit for us to try. We ended up loving it and greatly appreciated the customization. The owner is not pushy and will give his opinion on cake design in asked. He also does not act like a greedy business owner who tires to squeeze his clients for all they have got. His quote for our wedding cake was half of what other bakeries quoted us. Given the size of the cake and the delivery charge, Chuck suggested that we pick it up ourselves as it would be very easy to transport. It was very easy to communicate with Chuck throughout the process. On the day of the wedding, the cake was picked up by a friend and there were some surprises. Chuck assured us that all we would need is an empty trunk and a box would be provided. Turns out – not really. On the day of, a store member was outraged that a cake can be put into a trunk and that we did not have a box of our own. Everything was sorted out and worked out great, but it came as a surprise for the person doing the pick up since he faced a different story than we told him based on our conversations with the owner.
