    Very Tasty Chinese Food!

    Provided by

I took my family (14 of us) for lunch and it was fabulous! It was one of those meals that you really remember because it was so good. The food and service was just right,

    horrible service!!!

    Provided by

We went to eat at Ming's Restaurant on the weekend. It was a unpleasant experience for us because the customer service was horrible. The foods were okay for me because I don't like heavy taste foods. However, the waitresses were rude and impatient that we were being rushed to make orders. They just threw the dim sum dishes on the table which made all of us feel unbelievable. I have no idea the restaurant service has changed so bad. Those waitresses need a lecture on how to serve consumers in a more proper way.

    Good Dim Sum

    Provided by

Though Ming's can be considered Americanized but the food is great. I have gone many times for Sunday Dim Sum with my family. The Dim Sum has a large variety on Sundays. I even had a cousin that had her wedding reception there and the food was delicious.

    NOT worth the money

    Provided by

The food at Ming's was very uninspiring. The beef was really tough and had no taste. The dim sum was over-priced and tasted like defrosted frozen dim sum that you buy from an Asian grocery store. I could buy some of those buns from 99 Ranch and steam it better they can at Ming's. We went there as a group for dim sum because it is one of the few restaurants in the area that serves dim sum. But we were so disappointed by the food and the service, that we turned off from dim sum for quite a while.

    Avoid like the plague

    Provided by

We wanted to try Ming's because we had read some good reviews. The food was very mediocre at best, and the service was rude. However, the biggest issue was the food was UNCLEAN. My friends and I had horrible stomach problems after dining there. I mean HORRIBLE stomach problems. Better safe than sorry. Go to another Chinese restaurant.

    Great Dim Sum

    Provided by

I've been to Ming's a few times already and I haven't been disappointed yet. The selection is pretty big and everything taste great! However, the desserts are just okay in my opinion. As is with most dim sum places, you go there too early and everything won't be ready. I've found that around 12:00, most of the items are constantly being brought out and the wait isn't that long. A little longer after that, the wait is pretty long.

    Not that great

    Provided by

So I finally decided to start rating these restaurants that get great reviews. First off the appetizers came after the entrees and secondly the waiter forgot our soup. The service as most Chinese restaurants go was poor. In addition the food was not that great, not very much flavor, but then again we said NO MSG. I will say that their special chefs chicken was good, but no where near great. The only good thing here was that hostess was cute.

    Horrible for delivery

    Provided by

Not recommended at all for delivery - service was quite poor, with an extended hold on the phone (nearly 10 min) and an order which was eventually cancelled due to their inability to find the address. Food is decent, but expensive (~20-30% higher than is typical even for this area). You really can do better.

    Dim Sum

    Provided by

I went to Ming's for lunch today and I was not blown away by the dim sum; however, it is still one of the dim sum restaurants in the area. We started off with the shrimp pancake style with soy sauce which was satisfying. Next, We ate the chicken salad with spicy mustard sauce. It was excellent. I found the seafood potstickers and shrimp dim sum to be average. Then, I tasted the steamed pork buns and meat potstickers. They were exquisite. I would not recommend adding any sauces to the buns. They had just the right flavoring. I finished the meal with a mango pudding. It was quite average; it was served with a rasberry jam which did not complement the pudding at all. You can find better mango pudding at Canton Delight. Yet, the dim sum was good and the waiters were helpful. Go with a small group.
