"I have served the Bay Area community for more than 15 years and also worked as a counselor in Southern California prior to relocating to this amazing and diverse SF Bay Area community. I cumulatively possess 18+ years of counseling experience in a wide array of venues, positions, and target populations. I adore my work and truly feel called to this type of work. " For the past 5 years I have been the sole lead mental health therapist for a dually-diagnosed residential & out-patient program treating those afflicted with both (at least one) serious mental health condition(s) & active poly-substance abuse in all stages of recovery. My clients frequently have a long-standing history of struggling with severe trauma, complex trauma, PTSD, abuse including incest & sexual assault, early childhood wounding, narcissistic abuse by caretakers &/or partners, chronic pain & illness(es), episodes of chronic homelessness or occupational difficulties, & self-harming behaviors such as substance abuse, alcoholism, cutting, eating disorders, obsessive gambling or sex addictions. I consult for other mental health agencies & providers. I am actively involved in community outreach & advocacy. In addition, I provide organizational psychology consultation & team interventions (toxic talent, team building, layoffs, etc).
