General Info: Northwest Elementary serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school s academic curriculum includes math, English, science and social studies. Northwest Elementary School serves hot lunch to students under an agreement with the Department of Education to participate in the National School Lunch Program. The school has a library that houses general reference materials, magazines, dictionaries, biographies and atlases. Its child care program provides a safe and nurturing environment to students. Northwest Elementary school s extracurricular programs include arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor recreation and quiet time activities. Located in Palmyra, Ill., the school is a part of Northwest Community Unit School District 2.
