        Established in 2001, Desert Advanced Imaging - Palm Springs is a full-service women's center that offers a range of mammography services. Located in Palm Springs, Calif., it provides screening and biopsy services, as well as serves claustrophoic patients. The center is a part of RadNet, which is one of the leading providers of diagnostic imaging services in the United States. RadNet operates a network of more than 160 outpatient imaging centers and also operates centers in California, Maryland, Delaware, New York, Florida and Kansas. The system offers MRI, CT scan, nuclear medicine, mammography, ultrasound and X-ray services. In addition, RadNet has served over 700,000 patients and was founded in 1980.

        A bit of a delay with my paperwork and I wasn’t told about the contrast injection but other than that it was a clean and comfortable environment.

        I think it's strange that they don't take appointments for regular x-rays, that being said I got in right away and everyone I encountered was very nice and professional especially the girl that put me in my "poses". These x-rays were ordered by my new Chiropractor. I will be returning to Desert Advanced Imaging next month by appointment for my yearly Mammogram. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else as I was very happy with my experience there.

        Desert Advanced Imaging is a total rip off. They scam Medicare. They bill patients for what Medicare won't pay. Then they claim it was a mistake and claim to pay you back. Here's the good one: "Oh the lady who signs the checks is on vacation so it'll be another eight days". This has gone on since July of 2007!! If you take advantange or their services, be prepared to get ripped off!
