The Learning Cove

I heard about this school from the leader of the playgroup my son went to. She said that other moms were telling her great things about The Learning Cove's facility, teachers and curriculum. We visited last fall and the school was really beautiful, well kept and just the right size - no too big and not too small. I was happy to see their prices were competitive for Palm City. They have a modern curriculum that includes foreign language, gifted assessments, learning to use a tablet, etc. There is now demand for this school (I believe there is a wait list for many age groups) but luckily I was able to get my son in due to good timing. Since then, he's learned so much ( he is now leaps and bounds ahead of other children his age) - not just academically but socially - which is really important to me. He has friends, knows his classmates by name, is learning about courtesy, manners, respect for others, sharing, taking turns, etc. It's been a wonderfully, positive experience.

I am so grateful for The Learning Cove. We have sent our son for 2 years. We appreciated the convenience due to the proximity to our home in the beginning, but then the new owners came along and that's when things got even better! Ed and Jeanee are not only world class educators, but incredible folks with great hearts who truly care about their community. Palm City is blessed to have such a trustworthy, top notch learning establishment that we can entrust our future generations with! Your kids will love their teachers (our son has loved every single one as he has moved up classes.) They are all well trained, very caring, and will assist your child in developing social skills, building character and expanding knowledge in your child that will help them flourish as they grow. There are a lot of choices on the Treasure Coast, but if you want to know your children are being cared for the same as you would care for them at home (this coming from the type of parent who wants to spend as much time with the kids as possible and cherishes every moment), then give The Learning Cove a shot. We consider this place an extension of our home and are excited to start sending our daughter as well! I'm sure she'll love it just as much as the rest of the family does. Please really pay attention if you plan on enrolling your child here. This used to be a wonderful school with great teachers but since the new owners have taken over in July 13 the school has rapidly went down hill. The playground is a mess with rusted poles and splitting wood. Also a huge tree stump has been left since they cut down the great shade tree that was there. They dont really seem to know what they are doing and always seemed overwhelmed with the children. They have let teachers go and new ones come in with no communication as to what is going on and who is with your children. Currently the air conditioning is out and the have said they are not planning on fixing it anytime soon. The fact that majority of the orginal students have transfered out and every teacher has either left or been fired should be a true testement of the negative changes that have happened.

The Learning Cove is the best preschool. I highly recommend it. Very caring owners and staff..
