I have lived to ride for over 40 years. I have owned bikes, built bikes and wrenched on a few in my day. 2 years ago I had a career ending injury. This past Spring I realized I could not ride safely. To put it bluntly, I did not have any more parts to lose. With “oops” not being an option I had to face the fact that being on two wheels could be deadly, especially with my wife riding with me. I turned to my service team at City Limits Harley Davidson, the same team I turned to when I bought my dream bike in 2009 (a 2010 Street glide). Facing the devastation of having to give up my dream bike, we explored many options and suggestions, from training wheels for the 2010, to trike conversions, and of course the Tri Glide.
There is a certain stigma to 3 wheel riding. As an old timer, I can tell you that my story is not unusual. Many of us love the freedom of riding, but for one reason or another, can no longer hold up two wheels. The Tri Glide option has opened new doors for me and my ol’ lady to do what we still love to do. We ride. A typical jaunt could easily turn into 200 to 300 miles. We go. We go far and we ride long. The Tri glide has opened up new horizons and possibilities to travel.
With that said I have been down for two seasons due to operations and injuries. I decided to order a new Tri Glide at the beginning of 2013. I did some research and decided how to dress it up a bit. I am simple. I am more about the engine and reliability, which is why I choose Harley Davidson products. I chose City Limits Harley-Davidson. The staff at City Limits has treated me like family. When my Tri Glide was delayed in shipping, they lent me a trike to ride. When I could not identify noises, they looked over my new bike to reassure me, and lent me a trike to ride. This team of individuals has gone above and beyond my expectations. They are a credit to this organization and humanity. Their collective integrity and compassion have renewed my faith. I look forward to many seasons to come.
Here is my shout out:
To The Service Department; Jim Quillen, Rob Stephenson, Debbie Schilling, for helping me decide that the Tri Glide was a good choice for me.
Jimmy thanks for always answering my questions and always taking the time for my concerns about motorcycles, not just with this purchase, but over many years.
Rob thanks for being so precise and working with me on every motorcycle over the years. Your attention to detail is unsurpassed as a mechanic. Thank you for your patience and honesty with my many questions.
Debbie thanks for finding things that Jimmy ordered and always being there to answer questions.
To Greg Suchomski thanks for always helping out.
The entire service staff is to be commended for always being helpful.
To Garrison in sales, a heart-felt thank you for your understanding and working with me so I could have a few weeks of riding under my belt this season. May I say that Garrison stepped in after my salesman moved on. He took the time to know me. And he took the time to re-qualify my expectations, I respect his salesmanship.
To Rick Cardosi, thanks for helping with the delivery of the bike and always greeting my wife and me with a smile.
To Jamie Langler; for exemplifying customer service and helping us to find people, parts, and guiding us through the dealership. You are an asset to this store and a credit to what customer service represents.
To Mike Pinnelli. Mike listened. Like a saint Mike listened. To my every doubt, my complaints, was calm when looking over paperwork; Answered questions even when asked twice.
And last but not least, all of the employees at City Limits; who we look forward to dealing with in the future.
The above listed have made my experience at City Limits Harley-Davidson one I will wish to repeat,
Thank You, Ray and Kim Bentall
