Do Not Take Dogs to Get Groomed There..

We have 3 Scottish Terriers We have been taking them there for sometime now. When Julie was doing the grooming we never had any problems..Until 2-14-14 we took our boys to get groomed.. This new groomer assured us she could do the Scottish Terrier Hair Cut.. When we went back to pick our boys up.. They were not fully groomed and was Trimmed like a Westie.. The groomer chopped off our boys Goatee.. That is the main look of Scottish Terrier.. They charged us 95.00 for unfinished grooming and for making them a different breed. Our puppy goattee will grow back but our older dog his will not..because it takes 5 yrs.. It is not so much about the money.. It is the fact that the new groomer called us a liar and said westie and scottie hair cuts are same.. The lady needs new line work.. If she does not know the breeds hair cuts.. Will never use them again for anything.. Nor will I tell any one to go there. I will from now own tell everyone to stay away from there if they love their dog.. If I could give a Zero If could but this rating system will not let you..

If I could give this a ZERO rating I would! The only caring person in this entire place is the young lady that takes care of the boarded animals. The staff was rude, the vet noncaring and down right hateful. I had my dog spayed here and because I could not keep her indoors due to the size of my home and her being 90 pounds I has her boarded after the procedure. I called multiple times the say she had the surgery to make sure she were doing well and adjusting to the kennel and I repeatedly told the stuff if my dog was under distress or not adjusting well to please let me know and I would be there to get her immediately. They assured me that was doing well and not to worry. So I left her the weekend, calling on Saturday morning to triple check that she was fine and again told no problems. Well upon Monday morning I was greeted by a RUDE vet that basically told me my dog was not welcomed back and then the worse part going to pick up my furbaby and seeing my normally happy tail wagging good nature dog cowering in the corner of the kennel teeth barring even to me! She was clearly NOT fine. I will never go back to this place and I recommend Lyon County animal hospital they are awesome and very caring. I go to Dr Cummings on the Southside of Paducah for medications and minor issues and Lyon Co for shots and check ups, anywhere but here.
