Pacific Grove Adult Education is approved by the Schools Commission of the Western Association of Schools and College. It is a continuing education school for adults that offers high school diplomas and credit courses. The school offers general educational development test assessment and preparation classes. The school s curriculum includes English, math, fine and language arts, literature, science and social studies. It also offers advanced placement courses in English, United States history, geography, algebra and economics. Additionally, it emphasizes on basic reading, writing, mathematics and communication skills. It also organizes workshops and offers distance learning programs. Pacific Grove Adult Education also offers courses in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and desktop publishing. It also offers courses in certified nursing assistant and home health aides. The school additionally offers fitness programs for senior adults. The school has been operational for more than 75 years and is located in Pacific Grove, Calif. It was established in 1932 and enrolls more than 4,400 students.
