I took a transfer perscription in to this rite Aid and spoke to Kim in the pharmacy. When I came in to pick up the perscription several days later I was told that they did not have my perscription. They were confused and asked me to call back during the week. I called back on Wednesday 1-9-13, and spoke to kim again. She said that she remembered me bringing in the transfer perscription, but that they no longer had it. Apparently, they lost it. I explained that I was planning to use the $25 coupon that I showed her when I dropped off the perscription.
After a somewhat heated conversation, I asked her if there was some reason she did not want to honor the coupon from the Rite-Aid Flyer. She would not admit this, but that was the only conclusion I could come to based on the cercumstances. After speaking to the referring pharmacy I confirmed that the perscription was infact transferred on 1-3-13.
I explained to Kim that I like to do business with a local company, but I don't like to do business with crooks. She promised me that this was not the stores normal practice. I don't know if I buy her story. I think that for some reason she just did not want to honor the $25 coupon from her store flyer.
I will be extreemly careful if I ever return to the Rite Aid in Oxford, and I'll keep my hand on my wallet, just in case.
