My mother was going to Dr. Armstrong for 3+ years for a chronic cough, raspy voice, weight loss, and fatigue. Even though she was a life-long smoker he never sent her for a chest x-ray. He tried to treat her for allergies, anemia, and said he "wouldn't talk to her" until she got a colonoscopy. He also removed a tumor in his office and didn't even send it in to be biopsied! By the time he realized (yes, he didn't even notice) she hadn't had a chest x-ray she was in stage IV lung cancer. When my mom went to his office about her MRI which diagnosed the cancer he hadn't even read it! My mom and dad had to tell him that the nurse said the results were in her chart!



I blame this doctor for my mother's death. She was diagnosed with cancer and 4 months later was dead. He had 3+ years to have caught it! Her symptoms were there. He just didn't care enough to pay attention. He had her on a conveyor-belt patient line and wanted her in and out of the office as fast as possible. No attention to detail or to symptoms at all! If he had sent her for a chest x-ray when she first saw him about her symptoms my mother would probably be alive today because it would have been caught so much sooner.



Do NOT go to this doctor and if you are seeing him now then please switch to someone else!
