Too often people only find the time to file a complaint and don't find the time to pay a compliment for great service received which is why I'm writing this review for the Pet Lodge. I've had pets all my life and have been fortunate to never having to board them when I've had to leave them until this past year. After driving by the Pet Lodge for months I decided to stop and check them out. Without hesitation and without an appointment they took me on a tour of the facility. I had a great first impression. It was clean, the animals seemed well cared for and the employees were very nice. I love the fact that they require proof of current vaccinations before they will accept your pet to stay at the lodge. Well the day came that I had to leave my 11 year old dog for a full week. Needless to say I was nervous but confident with my choice of boarding. Due to his age and the fact he had never been boarded before they suggested the suite. GREAT choice. I called several times during the week and they always made me feel good - never made me feel like I was bothering them. Upon my return to pick up my pet he seemed very happy and didn't seem too anxious to leave. A couple months later (Thanksgiving) I had to once again use the Pet Lodge. This time it included my daughter's dog as well. Because her dog's vaccinations were expiring the week of Thanksgiving they would not take her until they received proof they were updated, That proved to me that they do stand firm with this requirement. When we arrived to leave them for the holiday my dog did not hesitate to go inside. He seemed very relaxed and happy to enter. I knew right then that the choice of the Pet Lodge is the perfect choice. Thanks to all at the Lodge!!
