They have the WORST service and the managers have all been clueless on how to react
to situations. The kitchen is VERY, VERY slow. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I have been to the Oviedo Mac Grill twice--once for lunch for 2, when we were practically the only patrons and didn’t have a good experience, and again for dinner for 4 on New Yrs’ Eve. We waited over 30 min’s for a table even w/reservations, early on NYE, and even though told our table was ready when we got there. There were many waiting and complaining of wait times as we waited. We waited for 15 min’s more at our table w/no one showing to greet or take drink orders. No silverware/napkins and had only 3 filthy glasses. Flagged down hostess asking where our wait person was, and told her of silverware/glasses issue. She seemed bothered but came and got glasses. Defensive waiter finally showed. Waited forever for drinks, but he only brought 3 of 4. Had to flag down much later for 4th drink since others nearly done with theirs. Defensive again and used NYE’s as excuse even though he was hanging out at the water jug area (filling them, or emptying them?) instead of getting my drink (and it had slowed b/c some of his tables had emptied). When I asked if we dare order appetizers with the way the night was going with the long waits, he was sarcastic, including answering that “it was on the blackboard” when I asked what Blackboard Soup was (still don’t know where the blackboard was there; never saw it). When someone finally brought silverware and new glasses (wet inside and out), I told her that my knife had dried marinara all over it. She took it w/no apology and never brought me a knife back, so I shared a knife with my husband. Some food was not good--flatbread had burnt black edges and lacked flavor. Soup not hot enough. I would never return to this location because of the long waits, slow service, dirty dishes, and the defensive, sarcastic attitude from the waiter. From other online reviews, and the way others at tables near us were acting, we are not the only ones who have received terrible service. Our son went to Altamonte’s Mac Grill a few nights later, since we told him never to go to Oviedo’s. I posted to FB about our bad experience and will continue to warn others.

i hate it there.the server dident give me my food until an hour after i ordered it. i kept asking whare my food was and my waiter kept ignoring me.when i finely got my pasta i found a rouch in it. recomended you dont go there

Recently my office had a farewell luncheon for one of our employees at the Macaroni Grill in Oviedo, Florida. The service was terrible it took forever to get served. As a matter of fact everyone was just about finish eating and I still was not served. I went to tell the waiter to cancel my order and he was in the kitchen trying to cook. I told him I did not want the order to cancel it. Someone in my group brought me a complimentary to go plate from Macaroni Grill and if someone else at the office don't want it I will put it in the trash. Never again will I walk into this place. And oh by the way the manager never came to my table. I only clicked on the one star because I was required to. I would have given them a minus number.

From my own experiences with eating at different Macaroni locations in the Central Florida area the Macaroni Grill located at 7123 Red Bug Lake Road in Oviedo Florida is the worst one.



First I will start with the service. My waiter Jon was immature and acted like a school boy who didn't understand his job responsibilities. I kept asking for a refill on my water and each time I asked he kept on ignoring me. He never served me any bread, and he never checked on me.



Second the food. My lasagna looked and tasted like throw up. It was also very salty which made me want to drink a lot of water which the waiter never bothered to fill up.



It's not so surprising that when it came time to pay the bill I left my waiter Jon a BIG FAT ZERO of a tip.



When I was done paying the bill and leaving my waiter nothing I went to the bathroom and when I was in the middle of washing my hands I saw a dead cockroach laying on the floor.



I will NEVER, EVER go back to this Macaroni Grill.

Where is Gordon Ramsey when you need him? This was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. The busboys were eating food from people's plates in the bussing area (after they'd been cleared from the table). The waiter could care less, and never brought my husband's birthday cake despite numerous requests, and it sounded like a cat fight was happening in the dishwashing area - very loud obscenities were very audible even over the loud, "italian" canned muzak.



The food was either burnt, with charred crusted sauce, or cold in the middle. Perhaps the cooks forgot to take their Lithium that day, who knows. On our way in, an exiting group told the hostess that they'd had the worst meal ever at a MacGrill. I should have taken that as a sign. Managements' response to their complaint? "Don't let the door hit your arse on the way out...."

i really love when i decide to spend $50+ on dinner with my boyfriend that the service is the same as a $15 meal at Denny's. The servers can't be more than highschool educated, and the service they provide only proves this. I will never eat at this low-class version of what Macaroni Grill is really meant to be. The food here doesn't even compare to other Macaroni Grill locations. I would not recommend that you waste your money here.

One of the best locations in the area...great food, great service. Very clean and a lot of fun!
