Amazing! Almost impossible to describe... from the ambiance to the music to the food. People HAVE to "experience" this place for themselves. There's no other cafe like it in the metropolitan area. It's casual and fun, and the owners are two of the nicest (and happiest) people on Earth. The food is definitely gourmet, and I like the irony of eating it out of a basket. No pretense here! The husband-owner is easily the best musician in the city. He plays clarinet, sax, and flute (sometimes all three within the same song). Unbelievable talent!!! I'm glad I found this place before others discover it. Someday, the Great Day Cafe will have a waiting list of reservations.

150% rating on customer service and the food taste! Brooke (& I believe Marge) were both extremely nice, offering a great personal experience while being informative about their food products. I had the organic beef sandwich and let me tell you, I could eat that thing every day! DELICIOUS! I would also highly recommend their breakfast cookies! I'll definitely be a reoccurring customer, and I suggest you do the same. You won't be disappointed. :)
I work in southern Johnson County, so the "mom & pop" places tend to be few & far-between. Which is why I just HAD to check out Take Five at 151st & Nall when they opened at the beginning of the year! Let me tell you. I. LOVE. THIS. PLACE! I have one of their Coffee Club Cards, and am there religiously before work. It's quaint & quiet & all of their staff is super-friendly! <3
