Veterinary Ophthalmology
Is originally from Imlay City, Michigan. She received her undergraduate degree in animal science and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 2002. Later that same year, she decided to join the Ottawa and Bluffton Veterinary Clinics. Her professional interests include ophthalmology, small animal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She currently resides outside of Gilboa with her husband, their two sons and daughter - Austin, Anthony and Anya, and their cat Harlee. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, reading, cooking, and gardening.

Our all inclusive pet pharmacy offers a full range of medications as well as numerous choices for heartworm, flea, and tick control. We also carry numerous prescription diets for pets with specific dietary needs.

Wound and Fracture Care
W as born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. She attended Tusculum College in Greenville, Tennessee where she majored in Biology and Chemistry. She then headed overseas and obtained her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her clinical year at Purdue University and graduated in 2010. She took a leap of faith, moved to Ohio, and joined our veterinary family here at the Ottawa Veterinary Clinic and Bluffton Veterinary Hospital that same year. Tracy's professional interests are small animal medicine and wound management. She currently resides in Putnam County with her husband Kyle, her 3 sons, Redmond, Duncan and Patrick, and their fur babies, 2 dogs and 2 cats. In her free time, Tracy enjoys running, photography, and traveling.

Dental Surgery
Due to her close proximity to the clinic, you will typically catch her assisting in appointments and entertaining the clinic cat in our Ottawa location. Katie has a particular interest in dental surgery and looks forward to getting to know all clients and their pets on a first-name basis.
Veterinary Surgery
Steve has been a veterinarian at the Ottawa and Bluffton Veterinary Clinics since graduating in 2006 from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and thoroughly enjoys the challenging and rewarding aspects of veterinary medicine. Laser Surgery
Your pets safety and comfort are the first priority when considering surgery of any sort. Our surgery suite uses the safest anesthetic agents available as well as advanced in-surgery patient monitoring to help ensure a safe recovery. Additionally our surgical laser, which uses a laser instead of a scalpel, is an option for many surgical conditions. Laser surgery results in less pain and chance of bleeding, as well as decreased chances of infection. Immediately post-op we offer cold laser therapy for many conditions. Laboratory Services
Our clinics maintain a comprehensive in-house diagnostic arsenal that includes complete blood count and chemistry results in minutes. Additionally we offer diagnostic imaging including xray and ultrasound. We maintain relationships with outside laboratories to provide more specialized tests and diagnostics as needed

Privately owned practices in the area. In 1997 we purchased the Bluffton Veterinary Clinic from Dr. Robert Benner, and in 2009, opened our new facility on state route 103 in Bluffton. The new facility allowed us to expand our services to include boarding and grooming, for the ultimate in one-stop pet care convenience. Also in 2009, our Doctors, along with several other practices in the Lima area, founded the West Central Ohio Veterinary Emergency Service, (WCOVES), at 3077 Harding Highway in Lima.This joint venture enabled us to raise the bar in emergency and critical patient care, and is the ONLY facility in the area that offers doctors and staff on-duty,on-site, to see emergencies and provide hospital care for ill and injured pets round-the-clock after traditional business hours.
Grooming
For the ultimate in pet care convenience, we offer a full professional grooming service for dogs and cats at our Bluffton location. You can even request to have your boarded pet groomed prior to going home or just schedule a "spa day" for your pet. For boarding pets, please be sure to schedule your grooming at the same time you schedule your boarding reservation.
