I spent many months trying to find a Catholic Church near my house. As I do not drive I needed a church that I could get to by taking the bus or better yet walk to. Well I finally found the perfect church! The church building itself is small and looks like an old fashiond misson church. The surrounding grounds are very nice. The church itself only has the capacity of sitting 500 people at a time. No matter which mass one goes to the church is always full. They are in the process of raising funds to build a larger church in the near future and t looks like they might start building it soon. It all keeps going well. The reason I like this church is because I have found the clergy and the parishioners to be wam, friendly and very Jesus like. Whenever I've needed some information they all have been very kind. And if they couldn't help me themselves they direct would me to someone who would be able to help me. I am a senior citizen but I am very shy and find it hard to communicate with people. So the fact that I feel I can approach anyone at all is a big deal to me. I've been to other churches, Catholic and other christian denominations, but I never felt like I was welcome until I came across Good Shepherd. I have finally made it home again, this time for good!

This is my daughters sixth year at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School. Scholastically they are a top notch school recently awarded a 2007 National Blue Ribbon School of Academic Excellence by the Department of Education. This is a tribute to the dedicated and hard working faculty and staff. They have a well rounded curriculum that offers physical education, music, spanish, art, band, choir and chapel. In addition, they have an awesome athletic program that offers both boys and girls a variety of seasonal sports to choose from. Together the parish and school offer a true sense of community and we are fortunate to have found such a terrific school right in our own backyard. Its Orlando’s best kept secret!
