The Beacham downtown is the new great place for concerts. The new sound stage is amazing! There are ample amount of bars to get drinks from, so no long lines, and four of which you never have to leave sight of the stage. The staff is friendly and prompt. In fact, I even witnessed a guy being rude to one of the female bartenders, but she took the high road and was cordial to the guy despite his rudeness. Though the venue was packed that night, there was still plenty of room to walk around. There's nothing worse than being in a club where you can't move without feeling like you're being accosted by someone or being pickpocketed. Definitely a club worth checking out, I will certainly be putting The Beacham in my rotation downtown. From the looks of their website, they're bringing in some great bands, too so I know me and my friends will be venturing their again many times.
THE DJ PLAYED THE BEST MIX OF MUSIC THAT I HAVE HEARD IN A VERY LONG TIME,I BELIEVE HE SAID HIS NAME WAS MIKE,HE PLAYED THE SONGS THAT I REQUESTED WITHOUT ANY B.S.THE LAIDES WERE VERY PRETTY AND FOR THE MOST PART FRIENDLY.THEY SEEMED TO HAVE HAD QUITE A FEW RUSSIAN GIRLS WORKING.I WILL SAY THAT I HAD A VERY GOOD TIME AND WILL RETURN ON MY NEXT VISIT TO THE ORLANDO AREA..I LIVE IN DALLAS WERE THE NIGHT LIFE IS SECOND TO NONE,BUT ORLANDO IS ON ITS WAY.TOM.R
Its really for the younger crowd, I've been there a few and always had a great time. The music is your standard techno/whatever's popular at the time. Double bars, upstairs in more laid back watch everyone else have a good time, you can chill outside if your getting a headache, met someone, or feel like getting sprayed with the mist fans. Typical bar food, decent drink prices, but always alot of fun people.
