Select Specialty Hospital - Orlando South

My loved one was airlifted to Florida Hospital Orlando for emergency open heart surgery where he spent seven weeks in ICU and PCU. Select Specialty was recommended by a trusted physician that treated him a year ago for a stroke. After doing some research and reading the reviews I was very troubled with placing my love one here. The reviews were very harsh and I was just not comfortable, however, I decided to go ahead and place him there. After a couple of days, he spiked a temp and the doctor wasted no time in getting the necessary test done to find out what the problem was. The infectious disease doctor was very knowledgeable and explained what the problem was and how it would be treated. The nephrologist got my loved one off of dialysis before he was discharged. All the doctors I encountered had excellent bedside manners. The nurses were compassionate and caring Diane, Maria, Anthony, and Ligia. Paula the wound care nurse was very knowledgeable. The nursing Assistants Minouch, Clona and many others were kind and compassionate. The PT, OT and Speech Therapist did a good job. If something was overlooked I would voice my concerns and it was immediately taken care of. I am so happy with the progress my family member has made. I have no reservations in recommending Select Specialty Hospital.
