This people are the biggest ripoff in the entire state... I will Explain; 1. You send them your resume because you saw a position posted by them for a job, and so they call you asking you to come in for an interview to discuss your skills and placement. Or another way they use to get you in is they search careerbuilder.com, monster.com, indeed.com, and other services where you have posted your resume and so they tell u to come in for an Interview . Remember that this people are super convincing and often make you think that you are wrong and that they are there to hire you.

2. You drive to New Horizon and when you get there and the interview starts very professional and everything but then they start offering you certifications in order to be eligible for a job. They start giving you prices of each certification and from there it is just lie after lie after lie. They tell you that once you take the certifications they will place you in a good job and that they are the top who knows what in the U.S and blah blah blah..

3. The point is that they get you there making you think you will have a job interview when they will really sell you certifications. This is from what they make a living. each certification can range from $150.00$ and up and they always want to start you with like 3 certifications.

4. Be careful this guys are SUPER CONVINCING AND WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. I left their offices and decided to decline on their Offer and they call me for weeks insisting to go and get certified so then they could find me a job.

YOU TELL ME WHEN DOES AN INTERVIEWER CALLS YOU BEGGING TO COME IN? NEVER 5. AGAIN BE CAREFUL SUPER CONVINCING INDIVIDUALS WHO WILL PERSUADE YOU INTO THEIR TRICKS.

Expertise

I had never heard of this company until I saw an advertisement for a free Project class. Needless to say I was blown away by the professionalism of the staff and the quality of the free class. Normally you think free equals mediocre when it comes to training but this was one of the best classes I have ever taken. I am definitely going to take more classes. This place is AWESOME!

Took classes at New Horizons Orlando and it was one of the best choices I ever made. I had a Computer Science degree but could not get a good IT job because everyone wanted certifications. I received more hands on training with their labs in 3 months then I did all 4 years getting my degree. Job placement assistance was good and my employer had sent their IT guys to New Horizons for training so it really worked out well.

After walking around New Horizons Orlando and seeing all of the success stories, I knew there was no other choice but to enroll. Reading former students stories gave me motivation to help me accomplish my goals.

The labs are nice because they give you a hands on experience of what you will be possibly doing in the career field. The instructors also will give you any information they think you will need in order for you to feel comfortable about taking and passing tests.

I would recommend New Horizons Orlando to others because it is more convenient for someone who doesn't have 2 years to go to college. It was a great experience to attend New Horizons Orlando. My advisor Kyle Kotecha helped guide me throughout my entire program. He is very professional and really cares about his students.

I attended a Open House. They provided some hands on training at the event. I then scheduled to meet with a NH rep. He took the time to explain to me what a career in IT takes. He also showed me all the companies that were taking classes. All the job post I see were asking for certification. I think new horizons is a great Microsoft and Cisco training school. I am now a certified IT pro. I would recommend NH to anyone that asks.

My company sent me here for a Microsoft class. The class was GREAT! They had alot of companies from Orlando at their center taking Cisco, Microsoft and VMware classes that week. They also had a job fair going on for their students who needed a job. A couple of companies were there interviewing students who were unemployed or changing careers. I have had 3 classes with New Horizons Orlando and they have all been great! Bryan Foxx is one of the best IT security instructors in the country and he has been with them for like 7 years! I would definitely recommend them to any company who needs their staff trained and certified and also anyone who wants to get into IT.

New Horizons wins Cisco, Microsoft and IT training awards year in and year out. Visit their website and check out their Press Releases. They have trained over 30,000,000 people since 1982. They train over 3500 companies, government agencies, armed forces, and schools/universities in Central Florida. They train the IT departments from prestigious schools like Rollins and UCF. They provide 8570 DOD training and certification for Patrick Air Force Base, Harris Corp, Navy, Lockheed Martin, SAIC, Computer Science Raytheon, NASA and more... Great trainers and great curriculum that comes directly from Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, CompTia. That's why the IT departments from colleges and universities train and get certified at New Horizons instead of doing it in-house. For indviduals: you can train, certify and network with these companies as you are in class with them. Alot of their business clients interview and hire indivduals taking the same classes and certs as they do!

I got hired to a contact position. I was able to get experience and make $$$ also. I was happy with the service.Carl S.A+, N+ & MCP 2003

Misleading ad and pitch

BE AWARE: This company's recruiter told me what they think I wanted to hear regardless if it is true or not. Months later I discover what they told me were lies. They have a misleading ad running and they back up their false ad in the sales pitch. They really do not offer what they have running in their ad. They did not offer a few classes they said they would and they said tuition was deferred for up to 2 years. That all was untrue.

WOULD A REPUTABLE BUSINESS REFUSE TO GIVE PAYING CUSTOMERS THE OWNER'S CONTACT INFO WHEN YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICE? NEW HORIZONS in Orlando refused.-- Me and my fiance visited New Horizons in Orlando. The recruiter said that the student loan was going to be deferred for 2 years. The false ad is running in the Employment Guide stating tuition is deferred up to 24 mos. But in reality, they do not offer that plan. The recruiter pitched us the 2 year deferred plan but signed my fiance up with the one year deferred plan without our knowledge. I am my fiance's co-signer. When we complained about being misled, they just brushed us off refusing to give us the owner's contact info and did not give the owner our contact info. My fiance asked would he be taught Win 98,ME and 2000. The recruiter said yes but he ended up graduating without being taught the programs. We were misled.

I was mislead

I have enrolled in New Horizions in orlando and from day one I was mislead. I called up at talk to a requiter and asked if I would learn operating system from 95 to present and 'They said I would. When I went to go apply for the school I was told the same thing and that this is the only school that will teach me and get my certification for computers. After completing the course for the computer technician I did not learn any thing about the operating systems older then Win Xp. I also did not learn any thing newer (like vista). All they teach is win XP and Windows server 2003. I would have to pay more to learn vista they do not have anything available for anything older then XP. I was also told my loan would be differed for two years, which I found out that it was only submitted for derferred interest for one year. From my experiance with this school I would not recommend anyone to attend this school they have lied and mislead many people in beliving this is the only school you can get certified.

WOULD A REPUTABLE HONEST SCHOOL REFUSE TO GIVE PAYING CUSTOMER THE OWNER'S CONTACT INFO WHEN CUSTOMERS HAVE COMPLAINTS??? NEW HORIZONS in Orlando DID. When me and my fiance' visited the New Horizons in Orlando, the recruiter pitched the 2 year deferred plan for the loan. But without our knowledge, we ended up with a 1 year deferred plan. The recruiter even said the interest was going to be deferred for 2 years, which is untrue. Their ad that is still running in the Employment Guide even mislead customers to believe what the recruiter told us. We tried to fix the problem with the school. But we just get the brush off. They said they would fix it but they will not. Because the staffs refused to give us the owner's contact info, we had to search for the owner online, which is pathetic. I feel if staffs are honest, they would not refuse to give paying customers the owner's contact info. They did not even inform the owner about our complaint. Were they trying to hide something? We feel that the several staffs were rude and unprofessional. When we finally contacted the owner, he apologized for his staffs but did not receive resolution. I just never experienced staffs that refuse to give customers their superior's contact info. They at least should have informed the owner about our complaint. I feel that is not how honest and reputable people behave. New Horizons made us feel that once they received the tuition money, our concerns don't really matter.
