I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am with Dr. Sonny Joseph! After consulting with five different doctors, Dr. Sonny Joseph is the only Dr. that was wiling to put me on a necessary medication to give me a better quality of life. He was able to remove and adjust medications to help me. Dr. Joseph is a sweet, professional, patient and highly intelligent doctor! Thank you, Dr. Sonny Joseph!

I have been a patient of Dr. Josephs for over 5yrs and he is very knowledgable ,caring and patient. His staff is very friendly and proffesional. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Dr. Joseph is an outstanding medical doctor and provider. I cannot praise him enough. He is super easy to talk with and he listens. He "gets it" as a doctor and has been most helpful. I find him extremely reasonable and always on point. No beating around the bush with Dr. Joseph. No fooling him either. I recomend him without hesitation. His office staff is as superb as well. No stress in interacting with Dr. Joseph or his staff. 100% professional in all manner, and then some.

So I see this sign, Former patients refused medication retaliate by giving us poor reviews... So I'm thinking, these are PATIENTS, ((who can be victims of 1) incompetent education directors (who wont fit mental health into their syllabi, shaping a culture that creates THEIR OWN INCOMPETENCE, and ineffective incarceration), and 2) the pharmaceutical GREED that HE feeds)), who get addicted to whatever relieves them of the AGONY they suffer with and need HELP. But he doesnt acknowledge improvements that may be necessary at his practice; instead, theres MORE signs, to convince vulnerable and easily manipulated MENTAL PATIENTS, (or their equally desperate parents), hes not accountable for bad reviews. Even if it IS retaliation, THATS WHAT SICK PEOPLE DO. Do chemo clinics put that sign up for cancer patients who get addicted to morphine!? Im already cautious of reviews that talk about an assembly line, or all they want is their money! 1) as you said, its THEIR money. 2) No one expects restaurants to let even the poor eat free; they dont lump everyone together and demand payment before eating except in suspicious situations, but are Dr's obligated to be equally courteous? They have more bills (inc the highest liability insurance on the planet) than just about anyone (another education failure: our students learn how to get welfare, but not how to ethically overcome crippling regulation; if they knew that thered be less complaints about prices.. so YES, review sites should filter references to $ but we're still off to a bad start.. Now reviews trashing the staff, ARE highly suspect; in my 15 yr experience, NO department, in ANY field or trade, needs more improvement in customer service, than mental health receptionist. Ive dealt with thee ABSOLUTELY most impatient, poorly educated/trained, least empathetic, even italics CONDESCENDING group of Dr wannabees... noone realizes they are interacting with the most HIGHLY sensitive, sometimes S U / H O M ICIDAL people anywhere! This industry should be designed and run (or trained) by the same people as HOSPICE- because that's what it IS sometimes! (and since no one KNOWS FOR SURE when theyre dealing with someone who could be DEAD/go on a killing spree in a few weeks, shouldnt they treat EVERYONE like they ARE that someone??) Well this staff is friendly, patient, even compromising, cool, professional... I felt, for the first time, like I was dealing with personnel who were genuinely or even first-hand sympathetic to my needs; (a bit brainwashed, but not more than any other non-union workers who fear for their jobs and need to hold their bosses in higher esteem than they deserve).. The doctor? DONT BE FOOLED, Ivy Leagues produce as many derelicts as other education systems. Unless youre ALREADY DIAGNOSED with the Top 5 DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR HIS; like most MDs hes probably STILL paying his student loans, and DOESNT have time for new research. No girls, the emperor is NOT a god; he DID NOT get my diagnosis correct. Why? Well, he asked, Do you cry? So I answered, Yes[. Maybe once every year or 2, so cross out sociopath..]. So after asking me like... FOUR more questions, he prescribes F I V E medications, ENOUGH TO KILL AN ELEPHANT, INCLUDING 2 for side effects from a previous medication, and tells me to come back in 2 weeks. Well, it turns out he wrote, has crying episodes, in his notes. So not knowing what else he bungled, I said the meds did nothing, and we need to redo the questions because some information is wrong. He says, Not necessary, theres nothing I can do for you, go to Shands. And what I gave you for side effects werent for your side effects and I'm not giving you anything else for that. DR JOSEPH, IF YOU ARE SO INCOMPETENT THAT YOU 1) CANT PRESCRIBE MEDS FOR SIDE EFFECTS FROM MEDS THAT YOU SCRIPT REGULARLY N 2) REFUSE TO CHANGE WRONG INFORMATION IN MY PERMANENT MEDICAL RECORD... THIS REVIEW WILL NEVER BE EDITED N ITS TIME TO CLOSE SHOP

I've been going to Dr. Joseph for 8 yrs. I find him to be honest, prompt, and he is extremely intelligent. He was the only doctor who was willing to help me figure out why I was having certain symptoms. As far as his staff goes. They are dependable, hard working, and to the point. Would you rather them to work like the employees at the health department. I have missed and changed appointments many times and they still showed me respect by moving quickly in order to help solve my problems. I'm so sorry that some of you do not understand that Dr. Joseph is one of the most respected Doctors in his field and he has many years experience in his practice. Therefore, he doesn't have need to baby sit and pretend that he is listening. He is a very smart man, and if you would really listen to what he says, even as little as it may seem, you would actually think about those comments he makes and you would understand what Dr. Joseph is trying to say to you. Don't make life harder for people than it needs to be. All the reports I'm reading about easy access to medication is absurd. What's really sad, is the fact that there are people out there, who actually go see Dr. Joseph and waste HIS time with their false intentions.

Dr. Jo patient for years. I couldn't live without the quick check-ins with him. His staff is wonderful and flexible. He is always there when you need him. He works with you to determine meds and will take your input. I think the world of him.



He will do you wonders. I have had depressive illness since my 20's, but am able to manage it with his support. There is no reason to suffer. Get Dr. Jo's help and learn some about Cognitive Behavior Therapy that you can do yourself--Dummies Book on Amazon real good.

Admittedly, I have been to a few psychiatrists over the years... Dr. Joseph is by far the best I've encountered. You get the feeling he cares about you as a patient. Psychiatric appointments don't normally take that long with any psychiatrist unless it's a complicated matter...
