Lamwatt, Jolyon A DMD PA

I have been with Dr. Lamwatt for 18 years. I have been with my husband for 17 years. When my husband moved us from Orlando to Clermont, 14 years ago, I still felt Dr. Lamwatt was worth the drive. When my husband moved us to Groveland 9 years ago, I continued seeing Dr. Lamwatt. Due to Celiac Disease, I have horribly weak teeth. My teeth chip, or even break, regularly. Dr. Lamwatt has always fixed them. Yes, I've had bonding last only 4 or 5 days, but I have also had bonding last 4 and 5 years. Plus, my crowns are amazing. My 11-year-old and my 13-year-old actually enjoy going to see Dr. Lamwatt. I will continue to use him until he retires...which hopefully won't be any time soon....

Great general dentist. Dr. Lamwatt is honest and won't push anything on you that you don't need. Another dentist told me I needed a root canal and that I needed one immediately. I went to Dr. Lamwatt for a second opinion and he said I didn't need a root canal. He said that I simply had a very sensitive tooth and just to use toothpaste for sensitive teeth. He was right. The dental hygienist are great as well. The reason I only gave 3 stars is because I had a tooth that chipped and Dr. Lamwatt bonded it. The bonding broke off the next day and so I went back and it broke off again immediately. I went to another dentist who bonded the tooth and it has stayed since.

RUN FAST and pick anyone else for dentistry work. In the years this man did work on my teeth, he caused more problems than you can imagine. Also bring lots of cash as they feel the more they charge you, the better you'll think they are. I've since found another dentist who has been painfully correcting the work done by J. Lamwatt and staff. It's been over 6 months and I still have more corrections to do. Shouldn't have to pay again for work already done. Your choice BUT you've been warned. Unfortunately, I never had this benefit of knowing his work in advance, you do......
