This place is terrible. They charged a ton of money and were not able to help my dog with his eye problem - another vet recommended a cheap, over the counter ointment which finally did the trick. While Dr. Moran was nice and tried to help me with my dog's hurting back, she tried to sell me on a laser treatment when what the dog really needed was surgery. Dr. Baer advised against the surgery after my dog's herniated disk ruptured; my dog would never have been able to walk again if I had listened to the doctor. They overcharge and underserve, and every time you walk in, you know they are going to try and sell you more expensive services. I really get the feeling this is just a business for these doctors, it is not about the animals. Other former clients will tell you the same thing. Look elsewhere.
I've been to Hunter's Creek Animal Hospital many times and the vets and staff are terrific and I've never waited for longer than 15-20 minutes tops. Unfortunately, emergency situations occur at any hospital and be but I'm thankful that the wonderful vets and staff at Hunter's Creek always take great care of their patients, which is why they are sometimes a bit busy.
Great people at the front desk, no doubt but talking about appointment they are completely des respectfully, My dog had an appointment for 9:00 in the morning they put me in a room and I waited for 45 minutes. When I decided to leave the room to ask what was going on I was told that they did not have any doctor available , really ?????? If I was not asking would be waiting For how long???? I took my dog there for four years and will never go back also will never recommend.
Great vet, great staff!
Unfortunately the word appointment means nothing to them! You can easily wait more than one hour, even if you have the second appointment in a day. If you come once a year for vaccines, you should be okay. However, if it is something serious where multiple visits are needed, my advice is to go somewhere else. They have to understand that pets don't like to be there so they they have to minimize the wait by not booking multiple appointments for the same time slot!
