I'm new to town and found the restaurant online after a search for crawfish boils. Being a native Louisianaian, I thought my days of eating boiled crawfish in the summer were over, unless I was making a trip home. I called immediately, spoke with the bartender who assured me that every Tuesdays and Saturdays, through August, they do a live crawfish boil. I went that very night! Not only were the crawfish hot, spicy and delicious, the beer was ice cold. The employees there are very gratious hosts, as it feels like you're walking into your local pub. I want to thank Rick Boyd, the owner, and all of his wonderful staff for the great times I've already had there and for the times to come. You guys are awesome!

We loved this restaurant! The food and service are excellent. Reminded us of the pubs we went to during our last trip to Ireland. Very authentic, we highly recommend this restaurant.
I went to the Harp and Celt for the first time last week. What a pleasant surprise awaited me when I walked into the Celt Irish Pub that looked like a pub right out of Dublin. The decor and woodwork is absolutely stunning. I was met as I entered the door by a server that introduced herself, asked my name, where I was from, offered advice on the menu items and took my drink order. I ordered a pint of Guinness and ordered the steak and mushroom pie. The Guinness was astounding as were the pie, but more importantly, I was made to feel as if I were a regular patron from the word go. My server then advised me that the Harp Restaurant offered full service fine dining and let me see their menu. That was my second trip. Again, when I arrived at the Harp, I received a warm welcome from the hostess and was seated in a 1900’s era style dining room that was rustic and full of personality. My waiter introduced himself and advised me of the features on the menu. I ordered the catch of the day which was swordfish with a Harp house salad and a glass of wine. I was spoiled by the food and service. It was such a great experience to go to an establishment and receive good old customer service with excellent food and atmosphere. I am now a regular at both the Harp and Celt. Another bonus is the Central garage for parking directly behind the Harp and Celt making it a breeze to park and a short walk to the front door. Parking is only .50 cents per hour after 6-PM.

We went to the Celt Irish Pub on their Warrior Wednesday and were surprised to be served the perfect 20-oz. pint of Guinness. The best part was the $3.00 price for the pint. This special is every Wednesday from 7-PM - 9-PM. Harp and Smithwicks are also included in this Wednesday special. To compliment my Guinness I ordered the Dubliner roast beef sandwich. It consisted of warmed roast beef served with melted Swiss cheese on French bread and topped with sauteed onions. It was served with chips. I also ordered the cottage pie which was what I call a Sheppard?s pie. It was cooked with ground beef, peas and carrots and marinated with Guinness and topped with slightly browned mashed potatoes and served with a roll. The Dubliner was delicious with the roast beef moist and full of flavor and the sauteed onions really set it off. The cottage pie was as good as or better than any Sheppard?s pie I have ever eaten. \r \r The pubs interior was as Irish a pub as you can get. It reminded me of the village pubs in southern Ireland. The owners of this pub definitely made it authentic looking and with the cute bartender, her Dublin accent and cheery smile named Lucinda, it sets the mood. \r \r My server's name was Candice and treated my group like gold. She was attentive and very informed about the food and bar menu. She made us feel comfortable and gave excellent suggestions to each member of our group on what to order. All in all, we all will be back to enjoy our escape to Ireland in the Celt Irish Pub.\r I highly recommend this pub for food, drink and service. They have made the mark.
My crew was very satisfied by the food and brew here. Excellent. Fantastic Shepard / Chicken - mushroom / Steak pies. Irish stew was very favorable.
My friends and I had heard about a new Irish pub called the Harp and Celt Restaurant and Irish Pub that had opened in downtown Orlando. We decided to check it out for ourselves.
We parked at the Pine Street garage which is just behind the Celt Irish Pub. From our car to the front door were about 120 steps. As we entered the front door of the Celt Irish Pub we were impressed with the dcor of the establishment. The high copper ceiling, decorations, memorabilia as well as a huge map of Ireland on the brick wall accompanied with the Irish background music really set the mood to this Irish Pub. Even though it opened some time in August, it appeared to have been around from the turn of the century.
We were greeted by a gracious young woman that showed us to seating that appeared to have been former church pews with elegant cloth for upholstery and old wooden tables. She presented us with menus and offered us a large selection of beers and full liquor bar to choose from. Naturally, we chose the Guinness draft just to check and see if this were the real deal. I ordered the Dubliner sandwich which is a hot roast beef sandwich with melted Swiss cheese, caramelized onions and mayonnaise served on toasted French bread with potato chips. My friends shared an order of Irish nachos which was made with homemade potato chips smothered with Irish ground sausage, cheddar cheese, onions, and peppers and topped with sour cream.
The food was excellent and our pints of Guinness served in imperial 20-oz. pint glasses tasted to be right out of the brewery with excellent flavor, freshness and appearance.
Thats when we noticed the petite blond bartender with the cheery smile and Irish accent serving the guests at the bar and conversing using everybodys first name. We also noticed that quite a few folks sitting at the bar also had Irish, English and Scottish accents. We really began to feel that we had walked into a pub in Dublin instead of Orlando. The prices of the food were decent with the Dubliner costing me $7.25, my 20-oz. pint $5.25 and a huge serving of Irish nachos that four of us shared coming in at $8.95. I needed a takeout box for my Dubliner which was huge and more than I could eat in one sitting. I was also advised by Lucinda, the cute Irish bartender that on Wednesdays, they have warrior night where 20-oz pints of Guinness, Harp and Smithwicks sells for $3.00 a pint from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. On Sundays they serve a traditional Irish breakfast from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. She also shared with us that they have live entertainment Friday nights and good soccer coverage on their 3 wide screen HD TVs.
The Harp Restaurant is next door, but only joined by the kitchen. It was not open during our visit, so my next review of the Harp and Celt will be the restaurant side. It is open Monday thru Friday for lunch from11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, and 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays only. The Celt Irish Pub is open seven days a week from 11:00 AM - 2:00 AM serving food until 1:00 AM nightly.
All in all, I highly recommended this new establishment. The pub has character with excellent food, fair prices on their foods and beverages, a friendly and courteous staff and authentic feel for being a real deal as an Irish Pub.
When I arrived at the Harp and Celt, I received a warm welcome from the hostess and was seated in a 1900s era style dining room that was rustic and stunning. There was soft big band background music that matched the ambiance and added to the romance of the room. My waiter introduced himself and advised me of the features on the menu. I ordered the catch of the day which was swordfish with a Harp house salad and a glass of wine. I was spoiled by the food and service. After dinner I went next door to the Celt Irish Pub and was happy to see that they nailed it with the best Irish Pub I have been in since Mulvaneys closed down. It was such a great experience to go to an establishment and receive good old customer service with excellent food and atmosphere. I am now a regular at both the Harp and Celt.
