This place is awesome! The only thing I thought was wierd was the carpet, and all the staffs garb. Those are my only complaints. The lobby is very large and welcoming, the rooms were nice, the bed comfortable, the shower hot and the staff was more than helpful. Loved it, but would also love to check out all of the other resorts as well.Like this review?Yes|Flag Abuse
I've been lucky enough to stay at this resort twice: once when it first opened and once in July 2007. The quality hasn't dropped in the slightest. The lobby is amazing- pictures just don't do it justice. A bubbling stream starts in the lobby, flows outside into a river, over a waterfall, into the pool, then out into the lake (ok, so it doesn't really do that- but they do a great job at creating the fantasy). We've stayed at a number of places on the WDW property and by far this was the greatest. The rooms are great and since it is a Disney Vacation Club property they are equipped very well (washer/dryer, full kitchen, jacuzzi). Take advantage of the kitchen (saves $$$), the pools (a kid friendly pool with a fun slide and a quiet adult friendly pool) and the three hot tubs! There is even relaxing native pan flute music pl... view moreLike this review?Yes|Flag AbuseProvided by Citysearch
I have personally stayed at every hotel on the Disney property in Florida and California. My favorite is WILDENESS LODGE. It is based on a northwest territory lodge from the ealry 1900`s and the treatment of the staff and the extra`s available to a couple or family at this hotel cannot be matched anywhere. If you ever wanted a dream vacation that you will want to do again and again this is the place to stay and go to... view moreLike this review?Yes|Flag AbuseProvided by Citysearch
This hotel is breathtaking once you enter the lobby. We have stayed here at Christmas time and it is incredible to see the rustic trees and green wreaths throughout the resort. I highly recommend the Whispering Canyon Cafe in the lobby for dinner if you have kids. It is a very kid friendly atmosphere and everyone is encouraged to join in the fun. The waiters are full of personality and will make your visit unique and... view moreLike this review?Yes|Flag AbuseProvided by Citysearch
