My old experience with the bakery seems to be a long forgotten dream. I have been visiting the establishment for roughly 15 years. It use to be the place to go, everything great, delicious. Seems that since the the bakery has been under new ownership that things are just not the same. Things look just as apealing but just seems that quality of ingredients is not there, favorite all time treats were white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, chocolate chip sweet rolls, and an amazing pecan pie. First of all the cookies started to have an off, chaulky taste but eh still ok, now my favorite cookie is gone all together. The sweet rolls not even close to what they use to be bread is now dry you get like 4 chips per bread and close to no icing, yet still better then store bought I guess. Finally what brings to type this review I went in last month to get the delicious pecan pie, it is just the last straw pie was so dry, not sweet, unlike the rich buttery treat I remember having. Honestly as time has passed seems like either someone no longer cares what he sells just wants to make a profit or is completely lost and oblivious to fact that he sells garbage. Its probably the first one because ofcourse even though quality has gone to hell, prices have been steadily increasing and they have beautiful new location. I wish I could turn back time to be able to once again enjoy my charished pastrys but its time to move on.

This bakery makes wonderful whip cream cakes. They also make Swedish, German and French bakery goods that I ask for, like Cardamon coffee cakes, Stollen and Eclairs. Their coconut Macaroons are the best, along with delicious Danishes and thick iced doughnuts. Over the years, I've ordered all our celebration cakes from them from Christenings to Wedding Showers. Orland Park Bakery has always been great.

They did our wedding cake and it turned out like something you would see on Discovery channel. . Seriously, they listened to every detail and we couldn't have been happier. Thanks Orland Bakery!

in a nutshell I called to see if they made a specific cake I said Hello how are you right from the start the lady was like excuse me and when I said it again she just said how can I help you and she sounded as if I was bothering her and turned my lob down without even seeing a picture will never use them or refer anyone and I own my own catering business. you never know who you are talking to business owners so lets improve customer service skills this could have been at least a 300.00 order and I will say Pierre's Bakery in Blue Island won my bid and they have great customer service skills Mrs. Anderson
