Worst bridal shop! Not only did we have to wait over 20 minutes with no explanation of why, we were shoved in a corner as if we were not good enough to be in this shop. There was not one nice employee here. After finally getting to meet with the "girl" that was too help me pick out the dress of my dreams, I explained that I wanted a simple, off-white or ivory ( I am Irish and Scottish, white washes a girl like me out) dress with cap sleeves and a lace back. Not too hard being that lace is in. After the fifth strapless WHITE only dress that was brought back to me, repetitively asking if the type of dress was carried in the store, I dressed, and left. I have never felt so bad about myself until I went to this shop. Unless you are a size 4 and under do not expect to be treated with respect or dignity. These women are supposed to be helping you find the dress that makes you smile and feel beautiful, you will not find women like that here.

Worst experience ever. Traumatic. What a nasty, nasty experience. I am a fitness trainer from Boulder, Colorado and while visiting my family in East Aurora a few months after getting engaged my mom recommended that we look for a dress. I thought it would be nice to get my wedding dress in my home town versus in Boulder so I agreed to go and look. MOST EXPENSIVE MISTAKE EVER. The selection was dated and the sizes were all enormous. I tried on a back-less gown made of a satin-like, form fitted fabric, I paid an extra $100 (which she ended up pocketing) to have the dress made specifically for my body type (I am an athlete). The dress arrived a few months later and when I saw it I had to look twice, it was a tent! She had ordered a size 10 and I am a size 4. The dress had to be completely re-made to fit me properly and I was NOT going to give her any more money and had my mother pick up the dress from that awful place before they began doing anything to it. When i called her out on what she had swindled (over the phone in Boulder), she was not only unsympathetic, she was rude and nasty. My fiance and I are small business owners and we understand that making a profit is important but playing dirty is just not okay, EVER and especially when it comes to someone's wedding day. I feel sorry for her, she has a lot of bad karma coming her way. Luckily, I went to Boulder Bridal and purchased a beautiful dress that fits me the way the other one should have.

The women helping me was amazing. She listened to exactly what I likes and she found the dresses for me. I am going back to try on the dresses again and hopefully pick one I love. Great Place!

M. A. Carr was one of my favorite wedding dress shops in Buffalo! I came on a Saturday without an appointment and the girl working the front desk was very welcoming and got me into a dressing room right away. The other staff members were also very friendly and fun to work with...my bridesmaids and I had a great time at this store. They let you take pictures of any dress you want (this is not the case at most other stores). The store itself is bright and clean and they have beautiful, high quality dresses! Although I ended up buying my dress from another store, I will probably go back to M.A.Carr for shoes and accessories since I had such a good experience there. When you are shopping for wedding dresses be sure to visit this store!!

I got engaged a few weeks ago and do not have alot of free time, so I quickly booked an appointment and went last Saturday. It was the best experience. I have gone a lot of places with my cousin, who is getting married as well and hated most of the places in the area. But the place is great. Every single person in that store was cheery and helpful. I brought my mom and two of my bridemaids and I had to try on at least 20 dresses and the whole store helped and was just great through the whole process. I found a ton of dresses I loved and am 99% sure I am getting my dress there because they can do almost any alteration on the gown I want. The only con is the room where the dresses are is extremely small and cramped, but it is well worth it!

Beautiful Shop! The sales people here are very helpful and respectful. The shop is very bright and welcoming.They have great dressing rooms, very clean and spacious I had a great time picking out wedding dresses. They had a good selection of styles and sizes. Check it out you will be happy that you did!
