The Regional Medical Center

The trouble:



1. At the ER the doctor told me (in front of my witness) that in this Medical Center doctor error is 95% (ninety five) percent. I asked twice and he confirmed - 95%.



2. When I went to a local doctor practice to get a cholesterol test, I received a bill from The R.M.C. for over $400!



3. When I was at the local doctor practice, they took my blood and urine. Later I was visited by a police officer, who told me I was at a very high risk of dying within the next hour! He told me I should call the RMC or rush there myself ASAP! What happened was the RMC mixed up my blood/urine with someone else's! That cost me 4 hours of my time, a lot of stress and I received a bill of $500+. Later the RMC admitted it was their error.



4. When I was at the local doctor practice (who never told me that they send blood/urine tests to the RMC instead of batching all customers tests and saving them a LOT of money!) they overheld my blood/urine and thus I had to pay TWICE, because of THEIR fault. The bill the RMC sent me was HUGE, much much larger than usual at other ER's or Medical practices. Practices! They do practice on you, folks!
