        Founded in 1958, Eldorado Emerson Private School is an independent, coed, nonsectarian college prep school for local and international students in preschool through 12th grade. Its tradition of academic excellence is reflected in students' consistently high standardized test scores, and the school embraces a philosophy of educating the whole child, ensuring a balance between life and learning and developing innovators for the 21st century. In Eldorado Emerson's positive, friendly environment, children flourish intellectually, socially, and personally. An average student/teacher ratio of 10:1 ensures one-on-one attention, allowing each child to reach their full potential. Students in every grade receive a well-rounded education that includes excellent academic courses as well as art, music, foreign language, hands-on science, and athletics. Eldorado Emerson Private School received the highest accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).         Enrolling our son and daughter...

        Enrolling our son and daughter at Eldorado EMerson was the best decision we ever made. Our son graduated last year and is now thriving in college. Our daughter is in her senior year with great prospects and a recent interview-visit with a representative from Yale. The vast majority of students at Eldorado Emerson are highly educated, confident, kind, and creative. The teachers are devoted and knowledgeable. The environment is warm and family-like. Why parents would send their children anywhere else in Orange County is a mystery.

        The teachers are WONDERFUL. The campus has such a friendly atmosphere -- everyone's part of the same team. Our h.s. son & elementary daughter have been at Eldo going on four years, and both test 3+ years above grade level.
