My experience at the N Tustin Ave location was extremely poor. I called to see if they carried a specific book, but was cut off several times. The woman had no common courtesy and didn't even say goodbye. When I entered the store a nice gentleman helped, then I looked around at an art book which was then rudely ripped out of hands by this woman. She looked at me as if I were trash and began to say "Read that book on the table!" I left with my business.

Found this place while getting my guitar repaired in the same building. I kinda went in to kill some time, but ended up browsing for a couple hours. They had some really great books that I bought as gifts, and I even found a book on vintage guitars that I picked up for just a few bucks! Super cool staff too.
Great store full of wonderful treasures!
Half off cover price for paperbacks, and large selection of non-fiction. All around GREAT store!
Only bummer is the new trade rule: you can only use your credit for HALF of your purchase price.
The Bookman is a great place to find treasures in print. The friendly and knowledgeable staff give other big name bookstores a run for their money. Browse in comfort and take your time; there's no shortage of great books. From vintage to popular, this store's got it all.
