Carreon Family Daycare

I was a tenant that lived in the unit upstairs where the balcony is. It's important for all parents who bring their kids to this daycare to know that my finger prints were NEVER done. The safety of kids should be a top priority and parents should be aware of the environment their kids are in. If I had a day off or worked from home during the week I would get nonstop messages and phone calls from her not to open the door in case she has a visit from the State checking the daycare because I wasn't listed as someone living in the residence. I would hear kids crying all day. I felt suffocated and I can only imagine how kids are treated.

For any future tenants: Mary would demand that I asked for permission if I had guests over during the week and know the times when I'm coming home from work because she would turn on the AC, then complain about the bill from Edison. Overnight guests was the most uncomfortable, because she doesn't want any of the parents to see guests during morning drop-offs. Keep in mind, none of her rules were in the contract. My experience is I felt suffocated and controlled. I couldn't have a social life she made me feel that I should be not working from home or take a day off. My observation and experience is she wants someone to be there maybe 30% occupancy and dismisses the federal and state law as a landlord. She would make comments mentioning I should get away for the weekend because she doesn't want you there when I was paying to close to 2k in rent.

My little one was greatly cared for during her time with Mary. Sadly, we moved out of state, but my little one made friends in the little time she was there and Mary was great to work with.

Mary has been great with my children. My daughter started with her when she was 2. My daughter has had medical needs that Mary was willing to help out with. She not only teaches the kids how to swim and pool safety but also gets them prepared for school. My daughter is now of school age but she also watches my toddler son who has been with her since he was 3 months old.

Miss Mary was very good with my son. He attended for 2 yrs. The place is kid friendly and safe. Swim lessons were great

Mary is great with my 2 year old son. He has been going to her day care since he was about 22 months old. He has allergies, and asthma, and she has been great with anything that has come up. She has also been excellent in continuing his nap time routine when he is with her.

We appreciate all the care and attention she has given our son, and we continue to trust her with our son.

Mary is wonderful with the kids. I went back to work after being a stay at home mom for 5 years. The transition for my two young daughters was very hard for them but Mary made it less stressful for me and was always there to comfort my girls when I dropped them off. She teaches them to swim in the summer and takes them outside for some play time and exercise. My girls are in school full time now but they miss this day care very much!

My daughter went here from 3 mths - 3.5 years. Mary is like a second mother to my daughter. Mary loves them and treats them like her own. If you're looking for quality and affordable daycare look no further. Mary is awesome!!!!!

My daughter went to The Carreon Daycare from 5mo-5yr. Mary teaches the kids and helps them prepare for school. She loves the kids like her own family. I would recommend her to anyone. Safe, clean, loving environment.

My daughter has been here for a year now & I have to say I am very happy. Mary treats my daughter like one of her own/ like family. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a day care. Mary is an awesome babysitter!!

Mrs. Mary and her family were the perfect daycare provider for my son. I was a Stay Home Mom who was in transition of going back to work. Mary understood my worries and took my son in like he was her own. She was loving and attentive and her house was always spotless. I would recommend Mary to any one looking for a small, in home, day care provider. She was amazing to my family and I will always be grateful.
