My wife and I stopped for lunch and to put it fair words we were disappointed. My wife had the Baked Haddock and I had the 1/2 lb Cheese burger. With my plate I was allowed 1 side dish and I took the soup. I had the clam chowder, and it was ok, something was missing or maybe it was sitting to long. By the way, my waitress said I could get it myself or she would get it, i decided to get the soup myself because here snail like speed, I would of gottten the soup when my burger arrived. When the burger came, that was the only thing on my plate, no garnish, no chips no nothing and they also forgot the fried onions that I ordered. I ordered the burger med/rare and it was well done and yet greasy, I was not happy with the food at all. Now to my wifes plate, Baked haddock, more like boiled haddock or microwaved and very dry and over cooked, the butter that they offer on the plate was margarine, yikes, and the side of hashbrowns were crispy but soaked with grease, not good. Now to the appetizer, we ordered the version of (louies wings) on a bed of rice. The wings were dry, chicken was way over done, some of the chicken skin that was on the chiken looked like foriegn matter, and to say there was not much chicken to say the least. The bed of rice that the wings came on should really just be a side dish and call it spicy rice. Our waitress that we had was not very attentive, and at times told us what customers were saying about the wings like "what are these"? that should of been our que to not get them. I had 3 refills of soda and the waitress had to ask 3 times what my soda was. My soda was the best thing that I had for lunch. To the bill, all of this was $30.00. I was not happy at all. I thought the little higher prices reflected the quality of food, but I was wrong.The food quality is compared to just another place out there that is cutting corners and just throwing slop at their customers.I gave it 1 star because I liked how the bar looked. I would not recommend this place to take your family to, you will be dissapointed.
