I have bought a lot of new and used cars over the years and I used to buy them all 40 miles north of Omaha until I visited Acura of Omaha. I always get treated great in fact they treat my better every time I show up, I have to drive 277 miles one way to get there too. I just bought a 2008 TL sight unseen, that's how much trust I have in them and I wasn't disappointed in any way! It is the sweetest 08 TL I have ever seen, 44K miles, one owner and all the service records. If you take your time and watch the website they really do get some nice, nice vehicles in. I have dealt with Hans since 2004 and my family & myself have purchased 5 new and 2 used cars/suvs and in all that time I have never had them go back on their word, lie to me in any way about anything. I worked with JT for the first time and he was very upfront and honest with me and I feel I got treated very fairly, I am an informed buyer (thanks to the internet) and I know pricing and what things are worth. I was just thrilled with the condition of the car I got, exactly as described. In my honest opinion this is one of the nicest buying experiences you can have. Buy a car and having a dealer to stand behind it. Go there and judge for yourself, don't take my word (or anyone elses) for it and go there and give them a shot. They sell the best cars money can buy and they are the best dealer I have ever worked with.
When buying a used car there is a lot of room for con artists to make a quick profit like Budget Auto Sales of Carter Lake Iowa. However when I went to Gil’s Auto Sales I was quite impressed. The Good: The staff maintain a professional appearance and seem to really care how their customers are treated and spoken to. The GM of the company, Darren, was the man who assisted me today with the purchase of my vehicle. I very much liked the no pressure sales approach. However, I took a mechanic to test drive the vehicles before I made any decision. The Bad: We test drove three vehicles. Car 1 had a power steering issue and the seatbelt trapped the mechanic into the seat and we decided against it. Car 2 tested perfectly and Car 3 had extreme break issues (like wouldn’t stop break issues!). My budget was 2500 dollars. In this bracket you are going to find a lot of rough cars. It’s just a fact. Take someone you trust who knows cars and test drive the vehicles extensively before signing any agreement. This is common knowledge when approaching a used car lot. Overall I'd give it 4 Stars because of the car issues on some of the vehicles but 5 Stars in service.
I have been taking my Hondas and my Acura to Exclusive for many years. More than once, they have saved me money through their honesty and expert appraisal of my needs. Once, I was told from another "dealer" that my Acura's brakes needed to have the rotors turned, etc. at a cost estimate of over $300. I called Todd at Exclusive and he said, "bring it on down." Result: only the brake pads needed replacement - total cost about $100. They also honestly told me another time, "Don't bring your car in - the problem is the transmission - take it back to the dealer for warranty-covered service." He was right again!. Honestly, I went to Exclusive when I lived near 50th Steet and now that I live out west, it is always well worth the drive. I am happy to recommend this shop for honesty, expertise and customer service. Everyone knows the value of "good, honest mechanic." These guys are the real deal. Only drawback: they only service real Hondas (no Passports, e..g, that were actually not made originally by Honda) and Acuras, but this specialty serves thm well.
