I love this theatre. It is one of the best that I have ever been to. The staff is friendly, young, but friendly. If you haven't heard about one of the movies that are playing, there is a book there for you to flip through and see who's starring in it and what it's about. However, most of the staff have already seen the movie and can tell you what it's about without spoiling too much. The tickets are cheaper than the other 'bigger' theatres around town..meaning, the dollar movies. I believe they are running 8.50 for adult tickets, but don't quote me. I just know that they are at least a dollar cheaper than the others. Expensive, yes, but what theatre now a days isn't? They have a huge lobby for people to hang out it before the show and a game room for the little ones to be occupied. I have not personally had a birthday party there...as I'm far too old for that now, but I know that they offer it and it was full of teeny boppers when High School Musical came out. The chairs are big and comfy...enough that I have actually fallen asleep during a not so great movie..(*cough...Indiana Jones...cough*). People complain that it's a crappy intersection, it's not...168th and Dodge...I come in from 180th, easier that way and a side road that not too many people use. People also complain about parking...park in the back of the theatre and walk around while the sun is still out so that when the movie is over and it's dark...you can exit out of the side of the building and straight to your car, rather than walking around the building in the dark when it's colder and more scary. Anyway...great place. I recommend this over AMC any day. In fact, I'm going there tonight for the Twillight premeire.

I was going to respond to the other reviewer and say I am disappointed he did not receive the proper help at my favorite theater. I don’t believe the current manager was in charge then; I don’t believe that would happy now. Sean is the best; he was an assistant at Cinema Center and was great there too. I love this theater. It’s convenient, both getting there and once you are there (the circular plan means you don’t have to walk down long hallways). Everyone is friendly, the theaters are really nice, the seats comfortable, and there’s even a bar, so you can have a beer with your movie! What more could you ask for? Give it another chance! (Sorry about your billfold; hope it turned up eventually.)
I love supporting a locally owned and operated theater. The family that owns the theater are very involved in the community, supporting local teams (UNO Mavericks, Creighton Bluejays) and raising tens of thousands of dollars for charities through their box office donation program. For value, check out $2 Tuesdays ($2 small popcorns and $2 small pops) and their A.M. Cinema pricing ($5 for movies before noon 7 days a week). My favorite movie theater!
