My husband and I have visited Ahmad's restaurant on several occasions when visiting relatives in Omaha. We have found the food and service to be top drawer. We especially like the opportunity to try some different tastes rather than the standard fare. We also enjoy eating outside, if the weather permits, so we can enjoy the atmosphere of the old market.
in the top three favorites--places to eat in Omaha. Everything is wonderful, start to finish: the food, the atmosphere, the impeccable service. I'm hungry just thinking about it.
The food is good but the menu is really limited. If you are looking for grapeleaves, kibbie, or cousa ... forget it. The suf (tabooli) is good.
