Hi Ashley, Thank you.  I really appreciate the fact that you followed-up and I'm glad that everything went well.  We are very thankful for you and the entire staff at the little gym. Not only do you provide a rich environment for gymnastic fundamentals but also foster social and personal growth of each child.  Thank you for caring. Mary LOVES coming there.  You'll be seeing us for more PSN's!

The Little Gym in Olney, MD is a Life Saver!

My 21 month old daughter, Caroline had spent 2 months at the Little Gym in Olney and the skills she learned in that short amount of time helped her avoid a potentially dangerous accident. This Spring she was at a local park with a ?wobbly? bridge. The bridge is made of connected, metal planks so that when the bridge is walked on- it moves and wobbles. There were 4 other kids at the play structure so I gave her a little space to walk back and forth across the bridge (about 10 feet)...view more -which she was enjoying. For some reason one of the bigger kids on the structure suddenly decided that they should give her a bounce and began jumping. Not knowing the disparity in their weight, Caroline began to go airborne and lose her balance. There were rails similar to the bars at the Little Gym to use when you walk across the bridge and out of literally nowhere Caroline grabbed one as she was bounced into the air. Amazingly, she not only grabbed the bar but also held tight to it until I could get under the bridge to get her. I know without a doubt she could only do this because of what she had practiced in her Beasts class. Only weeks before she wouldn?t even grip the bars let alone hold onto it- but because of her familiarity with this skill she did it with ease at the park. The alternative to holding onto the bar was to land head first on the metal bridge or 4 feet further down on the ground ? both options would have had severe consequences. We are very grateful for our terrific Ms. Lynne for showing her these and other fine skills and appreciate the Little Gym giving her the space and time to practice on her terms. We love the Little Gym in Olney and we are planning on having our daughters birthday party there.\n\nview less

A wonderful experience!

My kids and I have been going to the Little Gym in Olney for a few years now. Both of them have absolutely LOVED it. My daughter has been in the Parent-child classes and the dance classes. She became noticeably more social and comfortable around groups of children. I saw the biggest change in my son though. We started going when he was a year and a half. At the time, he was VERY clingy - he never wanted me to put him down. I was hoping he would be different at the Little Gym. He has become so much more confident, independent, and willing to take chances. The staff is so great with the kids and really care about them. They are very attentive to the children's and parents' needs and make sure the kids have fun. I definitely recommend it for kids parties, child fitness classes, dance or karate classes or camp fun!view less
