Location: We are 1.2 miles up the road from Suwannee, Florida. Suwannee is a fishing village, with a population of about 300. It caters to both freshwater fishing in the river and saltwater fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. The town is surrounded by the Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge. There is a canoe/kayak trail into the refuge from launch sites in the town. Just 60 miles west of Gainesville Florida. Gainesville is home to the University of Florida, the nation's eighth largest university campus
