A friendly neighborhood bar – nothing fancy mind you but we enjoy the free entertainment on Fridays and the singing and dancing too. We have also watched several playoff games there as the big-screens are well positioned throughout and the prices are reasonable as compared to other locations. Quite a diverse crowed too; a good mix of young and old based on our experience. Everyone who walks in is encourage, at some point, to join in the fun. John's host's and is quite the showman as he tries to get everyone involved. I must admit that it’s also nice to walk around and chat with people and not have to worry about some goof slithering up next to my wife as she enjoys the show. An all-around, decent neighborhood bar!

From Business: Established in 2015. Hopsmith Tavern is a hardcore beer bar in the heart of the Gold Cast. With over 30 beers on tap and 50 in bottle or can, we can please the pick…
I came in and felt like i had went back to france at night time. It was dim and beautiful. The waitors all greeter and were extremely friendly. The appitizer was amazing. I cant remeber the name but it was kind a arugal pizza. I ordered a second to go. My entree was the chicken with aurotin potatoes. The creme sauce was to die for. Everything was cook to profection. And for desert was the lava cake over flowing with hot fudge and vanilla ice cream on the top. Before I left I met the super sweet manager. She recommended the martini. Mango tango omg! It was in a large glass. All in all I think the price I paid was more than reasonable for the food service and drinks I had. I will be returning everytimeI go to chicago.
The Billy Goat Tavern in the O'Hare airport lacks that old Chicago feel of the one located on Michigan Ave. in downtown, but the food is definitely of the same quality, and they try to keep it as true to the original as possible, with one major difference...they actually have Fries! You will find this place in the United Terminal. When in line, you are still greeted by shouts for your order...order a hamburger, they ask if you want a cheeseburger... ask for a single, they ask if you want a double. No Pepsi, coke...but when other locations have only chips, this place has some great fries. The Billy Goat is classic Chicago... so if you do not have the chance to make it downtown, make a stop here.
